I snuck on to the field and did the same thing, spreading my Dads ashes out in RF in 2019. We used to watch 50+ games a year together in section 134. Made me a Stros fan since birth. He had the best s

Never easy, even against these cunts.

Good news is Abreu can't pitch tomorrow.  Lets take that damn boot tomorrow.

With 2 outs in the 8th, nobody on, 6-1 lead, Eynel and Abreu did the following before getting the final out:

BB

HR 6-3

1B

2B 6-4

Pitching Change

BB

1B 6-5

Time to get hot like the mariners.

Finish the sweep.

take 2 of the 3 from the mariners (and win the tiebreaker)

run down the tigers for the 2 seed.

I was hoping for 4-2 on this homestand and then "not play like bitches" on our final road trip vs. the bottom of our division.

Seems like all season the bottom of division has beat the Stros. So frustrating.
Could see sweeping Rangers and Mariners, taking first place in division and then totally getting owned by A’s and Angels and ending up out of playoffs. Wouldn’t surprise me in the least if that happened based on this season.

the pretzel i bought as abreu came into the game was way over cooked !

also $9

Nope, we need 5-1 to claim the HTH against both the Rangers and the Mariners. Anything less, invites a lot of problems over the final 6 games. The Astros win today, they all but eliminate the Rangers from the playoffs. Win today moves the Astros 5 games up on Rangers which really means a 6 game lead due to the HTH. The Rangers would basically have to win their remaining 9 games to have any shot of catching the Astros.

no fracture is key. they need to run an egg n his ankle

Huevo Limpia, or the Mexican egg cleanse, a traditional folk ritual where a raw egg is rolled over a person's body to absorb negative energy, including stress and the Evil Eye !

It's not just losing to the bottom dwellers, it's also the four catastrophic injuries that will happen

Astros are 6-4 against the Angels. They are only team we have a winning record against in the division.

We are currently 6-6 with the Rangers, 5-5 with the Mariners, and 4-6 against the A's.

Nothing broken but no word if ligaments still attached. They probably xray his right ankle anyways

saw it off and get his ass out there...

at DH, of course.

I’m not sure that’s a reason for hope-severe sprains can take longer to heal than smaller breaks.

Reminds me of when the first radiologist didn't see the fracture in my daughter's elbow the first time and so the doctors tried to get us to make her use it after about a week. After she screamed in resistance we brought her back in and said check again and 2 of 4 radiologists saw the fracture on the next x-ray. I had seen the position of her arm when she hurt it and despite how young she was saw almost no way it wasn't broken.

I'm assuming the 2 who still didn't see it now work for the Astros.

I sprained an ankle once so bad as a kid that they put it in a cast. No boots in those days. But doctor actually told me I’d have been better off breaking bones than having all the ligament damage. Took a good while to heal and I fought sprains with that ankle later in all my sports through college. If Yordan tore ligaments it could be a few weeks to a couple of months. Bones heal, chicks dig scars but ligaments are a bitch.

Blubaugh looked great last night, 7 strikeouts in 3 innings is excellent. Very promising prospect. He may be in the rotation next year, especially if they have a few guys on IL.
