I snuck on to the field and did the same thing, spreading my Dads ashes out in RF in 2019. We used to watch 50+ games a year together in section 134. Made me a Stros fan since birth. He had the best s

3 people i really really somehow need gone next season.....Espada, Perezchicka, Walker

We no longer control our destiny, and our POFF odds have dropped nearly 20% in the last 24 hours.

Guess those games in April and May really did  matter.

or the 11 games in which the Astros scored zero runs.

Houston lost all of them.

I can’t wait until Framber is a former Astro and the first time we knock him out of a game in the first inning. He’s a mental midget. Not varsity material.

great job framber, just great

hopefully this is his last start as an astro

He’s got one more….

to drop to 12-12 on the season

well, never knew about this one. it's in the must watch list ...

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_Game_(film)

Night Game is a 1989 American slasher film directed by Peter Masterson and starring Roy Scheider, Lane Smith, Karen Young, and Richard Bradford. It follows a police detective attempting to stop a hook-handed serial killer whose murders coincide with nighttime baseball games at the Houston Astrodome.

At the UT and reception was shit to get updates.

glad that was the case.

did see Pena had a slam.

got home and was shocked to see we got 10 hits…

so immediately check the RISP and see 1-9…. And a fucking TOOTBLAN to end the game by a completely meaningless runner.

the season has been so exhausting

just a long, slow death march with a dead cat bounce in June.

i’d bet a large amount of money we control our destiny at making the playoffs going into game 162 with Hunter on the mound only for him to either blow up or give a QS and the offense and/or bullpen blow it  and watch the winner of Detroit/Boston take the last WC spot.

Yep.

or if he isn’t the replacement won’t be anything to get excited about (Ausmus).

The fact that Walker leads the team in RBI tells you all you need to know about this team's offense.

There was a caller to the postgame last night complaining about Walker and calling for caratini to start with the host chiming in he was 0 for last 17 and caller just saying I know he’s leading the team in RBI’s and then just repeating for about two minutes  “but I don’t know. They gotta do something…I just…. don’t know. “

Sums up this season. Just numb at this point and I just….don’t know.

Fucking frustrating. So consistently inconsistent this year.

We were the most injury bitten team in the league so not surprising. Feels like the last few years that has been the case. Houston has the best medical district in the country, but the Astros have some of the worst medical staff in the league imo

Winning 13 out of 14 to take over the 2 seed that we have refused to go take all 2nd half is pretty impressive

Bracamonte has consistently represented this organization well.  Hat tip to a real one.

My grandmother went to Church with Strech’s parents.  In 2004 she asked a favor from Strech and then presented me with a ball signed by Biggio, Bagwell, and Berkman.  It is one of my most prized possessions, and I love that Strech was involved in getting it to me.

Such a waste of an arm. If you transplanted Framber's brain into a hummingbird, it would fly upside down and backwards into a bus.

So glad we didn’t give him a contract. Let him be someone else’s problem next year.

2026 #5 / #6 starter, he'll be cheap ...

Hmmm... those are Framber level numbers for crunch time from a 42 year old.

Watch him end up in Arlington and go 17-5. I mean, I doubt he does, but I also wouldn't be shocked.

Very possible, as is him starting out 17-0 and then dropping the last 5 to kill the Rangers hope of the playoffs.
