September 22Sep 22 Author Jesus, the last 48-96 hours have been a huge kick in the nuts for the pro good guys.
September 22Sep 22 I said before Framber's last bad outing that I wouldn't start him again. Who knows what would have happened with another guy in his place, but that's a chance I'd have eagerly taken. I'd now be happy to try giving Blubaugh an emergency start this week, even if we approach it as more or less a bullpen game. That's what most of them now have become anyway. September 23Sep 23 Why did Blubaugh get moved back to the bullpen? Espada really has no idea what to do.

September 23Sep 23 6 games to make the playoffs. Very achievable goal. We’re mortally wounded and have half our roster on the IL. Maybe as one last troll to Seattle is we can knock them out of the playoffs after they get a 2 seed and have their second best season on their history. Lot has to happen … but Lets go our fucking swinging boys! Not this. Edited September 23Sep 23 by Dnaguy

He’s batting .193 in the 4th spot and .277 in the 5th spot in the order with enough at bats in both to make it as much a factor as left/right batting. We don’t have a cleanup hitter I know but it definitively isn’t Walker. The days of data driven Astros are long gone.

But when a power guy isn't hitting, and hasn't for weeks on end, a manager can't keep pretending he is. I feel that way about Altuve, too. Stubbornly keeping those guys in the 3-4 slots might well cost us the postseason.

I mean at least this time we have someone to backfill with Parades but damn. $150 mil ish for 5 years of shitty first base hitting is wild. At least Walker can field the position and isn’t a complete bum at the plate. But is all or nothing shit is tiresome.

September 24Sep 24 So, tonight went as bad as it could go. we wanted Detroit, Toronto and the Yankees to win (and I suppose in hope against hope Colorado) all 3 of those teams lost. this is almost a must win game tonight.

September 24Sep 24 Did we just bench Urias for good or something? Felt like he was a lot more productive than Bug eyed Dubbie.

September 24Sep 24 Why were we not doing that more often this year with every baserunner stealing at will on us? And why did we never pitch out?
September 24Sep 24 I think they do. And are looking forward to trick or treating with their kids for the first time in forever
September 24Sep 24 Wilson just changed approach mid AB to drive and hit a single to right field. We will go up and just swing at the 1st hittable pitch, then take the next strike down the middle, and then swing at a ball if we haven't popped up by then. Fire everybody and trade sorry ass walker, and lets move to next year already.
