FRAMBER DESERVED THAT ONE

framber deserves better than he's gotten from this team, yeah

Damn.

83 pitch complete game for Framber, but also...

Yanier Diaz only saw 4 pitches in 4 at-bats.

What an ending!

#4155

This fucking setup for the fireworks is gonna take longer than Framberlamps shoving up their ass tonight.

Well the rays averaged only 3 pitches per batter so about par for the course

Yainer just had the game of a Catcher's lifetime. 9 innings of your starter tying the franchise record for fewest pitches in a CG. Gun down the likely go-ahead run in the 9th with a laser throw to 3B, then come up in the bottom and hit a walk-off HR.

Who/when did Framber tie for fewest pitches in a CG?

something Niekro in the 70s/80s?

Darryl Kile, 1993 no-hitter (almost PG) vs. NYM. 9 IP, 83 pitches, 1 BB, 0 H, 1 unearned run.

Anyone else feel like thus far this team is the Bizzarro World version of the '23 Astros?

2023: The worst good (on paper) team. Plus offense, mediocre pitching. Elite on the road, below mediocre at home. Extremely un-clutch. If it's late in the game and we don't already have a lead, we ain't winning.

2025: The best bad (on paper) team. Mediocre offense, plus pitching. Kings of Daikin Park, peasants on the road. Comebacks and walk-offs galore.

1st place does feel much better than last.

Over the years it was so satisfying to beat the likes of Bob Melvin, Scott Servias now you can add Kevin Cash to that list.

Mikey Storey has earned a shot. 499-412-.548 has a manager so far in the minors. Every season, except two above .570. Which equates to 92 wins.

@Wulaw Horn

Astros general manager Dana Brown said Yordan Alvarez has a small fracture in his right hand that’s 60 percent healed. It was found after the inflammation went down. He won’t be swinging a bat for a while but will return in the “near future.”

meh they knew all along. it's taking longer to heal or he had a set back

if they knew he had a fracture in his hand, say that. don't say "we're just waiting for Yordan to give us the green light and he will be in the lineup."

#4192

They knew but the shit that spews from Danas mouth is beyond retarded

Yes retarded. Sorry to offend anyone

#4193

Dana is nothing but a stooge that does what he’s told. Or he’s a complete imbecile. Maybe both. I have zero faith in that guy to do anything creative to make the team better. In other news, Whitcomb is up. Doubtful he is what he’s been in Sugarland but I’m at least gonna watch.

#4196

Also with the news of this huge public ooopsie by our medical staff, it's a good time to pile on the expletives for Espada and whoever else thought it was a good idea to run Lance out there for 100+ pitches in a game in late May. I'm sure there won't be any negative impact thereof for a guy who has thrown more than 150 innings just once in his career.

This is a Jim Crane issue.

Yordan Alvarez felt discomfort after his live BP yesterday and the Astros sent him for imaging. General manager Dana Brown said it showed a fracture that is “60 percent healed.” Alvarez will be shut down, but Brown hopes he can return “in the near future.”

Bullshit....it took over a month for the inflammations to go down enough so that you can actually get an x-ray that shows the fracture that happened almost two months ago?

Do the Astros consult a group of 8 -year old's for these explanations that no one buys from them.
