At the bottom of every page it has the breadcrumbs. I know what you mean, but I don't think there's a clean way to make that opt in as most people wouldn't like that.

Do you mind explaining what you mean? This is a ss from my phone. There is no way to tell what thread I'm in without scrolling all the way to the top. Am I missing something?

I don't have that same exact setup, but are you referring to the "Planes, Tr" portion?

got it. seems like it would be easy to have that presented in an easier manner but then again I don't know shit about shit when it comes to programming. thanks for the consideration anyway.

There is, but it's intrusive and a lot of people don't want it.

We really must be in a simulation, when two different people post screenshots and don’t need to charge their phone.

lol this should have been fixed like a few minutes ago.

thank you for your attention to this matter.

Seems like one of the css files isn’t loading this morning.

Did the usual tricks, no avail.

So I fixed the native video embed to not be humongous all the time...should have done it a while ago...

i cannot even fucking begin to tell you how much more pleasurable consuming your website has become with this change.

thank fucking god you got this done.

Mine was doing it and I restarted laptop...

alas update happened, with no notice other than the constipated behavior.  Don't think it's on Surly...

It is, imma is aware. Been since Sunday night when it crashed during the Bills game. People are getting nervous when their posts don’t load, so hitting Submit again for the dreaded double-posts.

I’ve been out of the game for a month or more and I came back to my reaction button being covered as you can see in the picture. This is Google Chrome on iOS. I am currently running iOS 26 beta but the issue started before that. Anyone run into this before? I checked back a few pages and didn’t see anything.

You know I just realized it’s happening in Safari, too. Tried your suggestion in both browsers and issue persists.

iOS only has skinned safari (WebKit).

I'm trying to figure out what that would be caused by. Do you use any sort of ad block or script blocking enabled?

Is it logged in and logged out?

Does it stay that way in landscape?

Do any other buttons look funny or not work?

No ad block or script blocking. Logged out and in. Same issue in landscape.

I don’t remember the utility bar at the bottom being there before my hiatus and when I came back it was floating to the middle of my screen when I would scroll through threads, blocking content. Now it only floats when i scroll up which may or may not be normal. When I scroll down it’s attached to the bottom of the page. Everything else seems normal.

Sorry the utility bar floats when I scroll down and is attached when I scroll up.

Toggle that thing over at the top of the page between the Search magnifying glass & the light bulb symbol. Then make sure ‘Mobile navigation bar’ is off, that will at least handle the floating bar issue.

Why does the Daily Texan have its own different longhorn icon next to its forum name? All the other forums match the CR tab on the left with the surly logo? More just curious than anything.

With the iOS 26.0 update, the reaction emojis are borked.

So weird - I'll have a look.

Restarted phone, still there. Fine on iOS 26.0 for iPad, also running chrome. Only borked on phone.

“Show reply” not working either.

I will see this happen sometimes but it’s usually just related to the strength of my signal/wifi.  very transient.
