my formatting just got all changed.

Yup - total borkage on the formatting ... my guess is somebody's playing with the CSS to try to clean things up.

Looks like they are changing how we see if a we participated in a thread/thread has new posts. Previously it was the double quote icon. Black for threads you've posted in, white for threads you hadn't. Now stars for threads you've posted in, circles for those you haven't and using the burnt orange fill to notify you of new content. Or something like that.

Or it was part of the recent maintenance and I hadn't noticed. Who knows? Borked.

The new format is awful and has overlapping info and links all over the place. Jesus I am gone for a few days and this place goes to shit.....

and we are back, for now. this is so much cleaner than the new formatting

It wasn’t cascading for a while there.

Every forum title is “new”.  Lol

Who wants to make book on the level and duration of borkage the surly storage will create?

imamac is a disallowed bettor.

Weren’t the forum titles on the bottom also? They gone.

I still see them, but they have the actual forum names, not the Surly names.

This is some fucked up, repugnant shit.  I'm used to search being borked, but it's difficult to navigate forums now, e.g. Other Sport and no way to get to Longhorn sports.

Unread still not working.

Seems elastic search had a hiccup which activity stream depends on. Should be good now.

@immamac to the white courtesy phone please.

Make the "✓mark this found as read" a smaller button.

Nearly every time I go to a forum and start to click on a thread, the page starts doing that jumping up and down crap and wind up marking the forum read.  It doesn't need to be that damned big anyway.

Jhfc.  So I donate my tree fitty a month and the notification colors at the top change from burntish orange to fucking crimson????!!!!!  Note to all I'm really really drunk

Really really really drunk

What if you forget?

asking for adobe...

finally figured it out- i use tapa to post pics, and every time i do that i get automatically subscribed to that thread for some reason. in the words of digable planets: "strange; real strange."
