You're being a whiny ass idiot, just stop. Every single foul (on both teams) has been 100% valid so far this half.

you are missing the uncalled ones on Houston...you are only looking at the called fouls.  the Houston dude was pushing the Florida guy on the last call as well.

Sorry but those fouls on Florida were correct except for maybe 1.

The problem is they let so much go by Florida in the first half that now it looks like it’s lopsided. They could have, and should have, called more on Florida in the 1st half.

The problem with this game is you want to not have to call a lot and to just let them play because it’s the NC game. But as the old saying goes, it’s always better to call it tight to start the game then let the players adjust than to call is loose to start then tighten up later.

You don't want them to call all of that evenly if you're pulling for Houston.

They called Condon for 3 shuffle travels in the first half, something Houston's bigs do just about every possession.

They were calling none of this in the 1H. They have completely inserted themselves in the game instead of letting them play.

Counterpoint: fuck Florida

Calling fouls evenly is the biggest load of horse shit in college basketball.

Florida is committing more fouls. Period.

Exactly, you don't get to dominate the boards as UH does without physically pushing and going over, which were not called.

Only if you ignore all of Houston's fouls.

The amount of commercials and stoppage in play for this game is ridiculous

Coogs bring the national championship home to H-town. The city is behind you.

I'm all Houston tonight.

I moved to Houston in 1980, and watched Houston grow up, from, "I likes the ladies!" into Phi Slama Jamma. Clyde the Glide, the kid from Houston Sterling, and Akeem The Dream, the former soccer goalie, were easy guys to root for. Super talented, charismatic, and a love for the game they played.

We watched the 1983 Semifinal game in the lodge at Taos Ski Valley. Fantastic setting, and an electric atmosphere that comes from surviving Taos. Houston, Phi Slama Jamma, v. Louisville, The Doctors of Dunk. One of the best basketball games ever, a 40 minute, 94-81 highlight real, before the days of a 3 pt shot. After watching Clyde Drexler jump over a Louisville defender, switch the ball from hand to hand, a slam a 2 handed dunk, one of my colleagues, a North Carolina Blue Blood, sheepishly admitted that there only a few people in basketball who can do that.  Grudgingly, he recognized greatness.

For the Finals, THE FIX WAS IN!. This game was over before it started. Clyde was called for 3 fouls in the first 90 seconds of the game, and that was it.

Great memories.

Well “calling it evenly” isn’t a thing in basketball. A lot of people can’t seem to grasp that yes, there are teams that foul more than other teams.

As an impartial fan….it appeared that UF went on a fouling spree that was above and beyond what was “allowed” in the first half. And UH pretty much did the same stuff they were allowed to do in the first half.

the Carl Lewis national anthem and tonights couldn't be farther apart on the spectrum.

Awesome retort. There should be an asterisk next to this title like the Astros have

Sharp for Houston flops more than a South American soccer player.

This coming from the wrongest person on the internet, I think Houston will rest easy assuming they hold on.
