April 15Apr 15 Buddy of mine works for a ranch brokerage listing big tracts of land like that. He mostly sells stuff NW of Austin (Llano, Burnet...etc.), but the brokerage has associates all over the state and looks like they have an office in Amarillo. https://texasranchsalesllc.com/

I'm a realtor, and a good one, and I wouldn't know how to properly handle a listing like you describe.

April 16Apr 16 If I were to make a referral would it be for a person I know only online on a degenerate message board?

I should think any realtor would be interested in the commission. It's not like I'm asking for help selling a bunch of new iphones I "found"

It's not like I'm asking for help selling a bunch of new iphones I "found" pros and cons: it won't be an easy property to sell, and it will take a long time. OTOH, there will be no open houses, no showings, and no staging, etc. An agent will do a fair amount of work on the front end, list the fucker, and then wait, perhaps months, for the phone to ring.

Yeah, I gather that my old pal only sells a handful of places in any given year, but you don't really need to do much volume if you're selling ranches that are listed for several million dollars. Also, seems like the prep work he puts in would be a little more fun than typical realtor work (such as riding around the ranches in his UTV taking drone photos).

April 22Apr 22 Another recommendation: Austin based and specializes in ranches but he’s from Amarillo area and went to TTU. Great guy. https://ranchrealestate.com/colton-harbert/
