With no location change. SMDH

I hope the 25 different commentators and analyst ESPN has in town have a great time in Okie City.

They'd better like steak.

All this hate for the thunder is unwarranted. They aren't OU.

Welcome to being good. You don't get to be the plucky, fun young team forever.

I mean just take their hearts and rip them straight out of their fucking chests. God damn.

i love that i watched the entire softball game, tuned in to this game with 20 seconds left, and still caught everything important lol.

You missed Myles Turner banking in a 3.

halliburton mentioning how carlisle likes to let him do his thing in favor of calling a TO and setting up a play, and time and time again it has worked. halliburton is unbelievable in the clutch, and rock carlisle deserves a ton of credit for how his team plays. amazing.

Hard to imagine that there's a single person outside of Oklahoma not pulling for the Comeback Kids in this one.

And didn’t NBA players vote Halliburton as Most Overrated Player in the league shortly before the playoffs?

And, OKC …

I was flipping back and forth. Pacers were down 9 with 3 mins - I watched Texas lose then I flipped back and like you said it's 1 point game with 22 seconds.

He wanted Halliburton earlier than anyone. He desperately tried to trade up to get him when he was falling in the draft. He’s a genius at identifying guards who fit his system. Always has been.

I think OKC scored like two points in the last three minutes.

Correct. It was 108-99 with 2:52 left.

Indiana has come back from down 15 or more FIVE times, the most such comebacks in a single postseason in the play-by-play era (since 1997). Pacers are 5-3 when they go down by 15 or more this playoffs. [contains quote post or other embedded content]

I said earlier in the thread. Haliburton is a damn star

Also they either shut Chet down or he royally sucked. Didn’t get to see any of the game but damn that line is putrid

Man, gotta love a Game 1 where not a single declarative statement regarding the outcome of the series can reasonably be made. I mean, OKC looks better, but Indiana is good enough to keep it within striking distance in the 4th, and that's all they need.

#3044

That was bad for OKC lol. They’re the better team by a lot and should still win the series easy but that’s gotta stick with you lol.

I'm old enough to remember thinking this exact same thing.

Ah, the blissful naivety of youth...

Here's the thing...

I bought 5000 units at $.16 that Indiana would win the championship game ($800). After game 1 those 5000 units are at $.27 (+$550). Do I take the money and run?

If IND can somehow go up 2-0 I should be at $.60 (+$2200) you would think but if OKC wins it's probably back down to .18/.19 range.

Or just ride it out and pocket $5k if Indiana can win the series.

What would yall do?

#3048

Their star foul baits into free throws thus you need to play honest giving him space…meanwhile they play football on defense to force turnovers

Fuck em. They play like dishonest shitheads
