Yes. Calf Strains are a good predictor of an upcoming Achilles injury.

Well, shit.  He prolly could play but shouldn’t then….

That sucks.  It’s been a great run for them and an injury to him is a shitty way to go out.

I’m obviously love the Pacers, but there is NO place for plays like this in basketball man. Nesmith should be ashamed.

yea i think there needs some suspension or draft picks taken away from Indy because of this heinous act. I know OKCs stars are picking each other up off of the floor almost every possession. 99% of the time its because they fall over on their own just like the video above. but enoughs enough.  I hope the league does something about this.

Honestly it's good for the league the better that Shai is and the more accolades that he picks up. He's already better than Kobe and KD ever were. His team has never done anything wrong. He's doing America a favor by putting down this dirty Pacers team.

ABCs coverage is atrocious. Between B-team game announcers and Steve A Smith/Kendrick Perkins, it’s unwatchable. Then the 3 week finals is such that I dont give a fuck.

The Pacers are saying they're prepping to play without Halliburton be he's a GTD.  To me that sounds like he's not playing and that sucks. This has been a good series and I think with him, they go to a Game 7.  It hate it when injuries cloud the playoffs but I'm not sure if it's worth him ruining his career with a torn/ruptured achilles or something.

So you are saying it’s a good thing I have not seen a game broadcast of these finals?

I’ve had to turn the sound off (I sound like a goddamn broken record). It’s been historically bad, reaching Bill Walton (who I loved), Tom Tolbert, Brad Nessler levels of awful. Just the worst.

I would watch more sports if there was a "game sounds only" version of the broadcast. Let me hear the sound of the dribble, the squeaks of the shoes, the clanking of the ball on the rim, people screaming positions and plays at each other. You know, the stuff that immerses you in the game. Market it as "NBA Court side View" and include it in League Pass. It would sell like crazy.

I’d pay a crazy amount of money to have a channel with the players unedited mic’d.  Could you imagine watching a game and hearing Ant talk shit to someone lmfao

There’s probably a great reason why this doesn’t exist, but I’m with you. I’d watch the hell out of it.

The Stanley Cup Finals on Max had an ASL broadcast (that I accidentally clicked on).  This is exactly what it was, with someone in the bottom right corner doing the ASL broadcast.

I’ll watch an old NBA broadcast from ABC back in the early 70s on YT every so often and it’s basically like you’ve described.

I’ve been in Germany & France so I missed it all. Now I am drunk after a night a Vogelbrau in Ettlingen.  One of the best Biers ever.  No way I can watch tonight

Oh I’m sure there’s some wild shit that gets yelled out but gah damn would it be awesome.  Just slap a M rating on it and rake in millions.

I wouldn't recommend tuning in to try to watch the game tonight anyway.

Thunder fans are expected to show up in force in Indiana, accounting for nearly 1 in every 5 fans at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, according to ticket marketplace, Vivid Seats

This 2am sports shit just doesn't work.

I think I saw this on Facebook, but:

If I saw Chet Holmgren and Myles Turner playing one-on-one in my backyard...I'd close the curtains.

#3331

TJ I appreciate what you're doing for unassuming white guys all over America but going 0/2 at the stripe is not really cool.

#3332

Commentators have obviously been coached to push against the SGA foul-baiting narrative.

Just call the game, guys.

#3335

(Pacers largest lead of the series)

"Let's hand SGA some total fucking garbage free throws"

#3336

What are these fucking fucksticks calling. Silver should be behind bars for this shit.

Turner might be a zero on offense, but he is making Chet his bitch on defense.

He is a Rick Barnes disciple.

I know it won’t happen but it would be hilarious to see the Pacers steal this series. Fuck the Thunder.
