June 23Jun 23 That’s what’s crazy. Just disappeared in 2H. As a Mavs fan, definitely don't miss that about Rick. He has some extremely weird in game management. Downright terrible at times. Your best player is out so you leave your 2nd best player stashed on the bench while your team is falling apart? He can be a huge dumbass at times.
June 23Jun 23 Meh. This is over. Shitty end to this season. Hopefully someone beats these dickheads next year.
June 23Jun 23 Something tells me if OKC knew McConnell would be the entire Pacers offense they'd know they're okay

And there's always the inevitable injuries that happen every year and every postseason. But OKC looks like they'll be the favorites in the West for the foreseeable future.

They're a good team but they got taken to 7 twice. Like you said HOU and SA are just getting started and Jokic and Luka are still in the conference. Also Minny... who knows with them. June 23Jun 23 What a difference a half makes. OKC couldn’t buy a three in 1H, seemingly can’t miss 2H. Bummer Halliburton got hurt. Was shaping up to be a great game prior to injury.
June 23Jun 23 Perhaps some James Johnson minutes could help... The grabbing and hand checking OKC gets away with makes this borderline unwatchable.

June 23Jun 23 Brutal night for Pacer fans. Haliburton goes down in the 1st (crazy state - he still has the most 3 pt FGs this game) when the Pacers were in the game and playing well. And now there is a rather low ceiling for 25-26 if it is confirmed that it's an Achilles.

June 23Jun 23 Here's where the refs give Pacers inconsequential FTA to even up the box score and keep the fraud game going 1 minute ago, aggie08 said: Who the fuck is coming out of the East next year?? 99% of the time post jordan years it doesn't matter
June 23Jun 23 1 minute ago, aggie08 said: Who the fuck is coming out of the East next year?? Idk but the conference balance feels worse than ever. It's crazy that not only are Jokic, Luka, SGA and Wemby in the West but so are the OG superstar trio in KD, Bron, Curry - plus Kawhi. Plus Harden. Giannis, Tatum and Embiid are the only superstars of the past few years left in the East and two of them aren't playing next season.

June 23Jun 23 Trimmed my IND position at halftime so salvaged some upside while still winning $1100 when OKC wins. What a run this playoffs that started with being bullish and betting $100 bet on NY Knicks pre Boston upset.

June 23Jun 23 indy is winning this quarter 13-12 despite making 2 fg's and OKC making 3. certainly was open to come back but they arent taking advantage of it

The quality of basketball was probably better than it was in 2016. This was great for the league. Even OKC winning is probably good for the league as unpopular as they are. You need villains and frontrunners. (Or - wait - was he trying to say this Finals was like that Finals? I'm confused. He didn't articulate anything well) Edited June 23Jun 23 by ztejas
June 23Jun 23 Been a longtime fan, years of season tickets, so many playoffs and the loss to Miami in the finals despite so much talent. I mean Westbrook, KD, Hardin, Adams, Kanter, so many more, and they could only manage to get close before this. Just because they share a state with OU doesn't make them evil.
