April 21Apr 21 Didn't know where to put this. This was aired on Sunday. It recaps Tigers 2000 season. I'd forgotten just how f'ing great he was. Odd that they didn't mention that he carried that momentum to win the 2001 Masters which gave him the Tiger Slam. I didn't realize he was playing a different ball than everyone else. Surprisingly enough it was a 2 piece ball. By today's standards, 2 piece balls are budget beginner balls and soft (compression) as marshmellow. I'm sure his 2 piece ball was as hard as today's pro balls but still had enough wedge and green side spin that he was able to do some magic with it. Anyone know what Nike ball it was? Also it was made by Bridgestone, which I guess is why he still plays Bridgestone today. Edited April 21Apr 21 by crash_davis

I thought he was Titleist until Nike started making balls. I didn’t think he went to Bridgestone balls until Nike cut him loose after his big scandal.
