Will baited him and meathead fell for it hook, line, and sinker. I will never forget the time Pete Incavaglia challenged our entire dugout and they were looking for a place to hide. Those series back then were epic.
April 28Apr 28 Popular Post I know we only beat them by 1 run in each of the games, but can we talk about how unfair it was that they got to bat 9 innings in each of the game, but we only got to bat 8!?

And being at the game, that's how it felt--just like it was going to be a long out or maybe a foul. But the damned thing just kept carrying.

A handful this weekend felt like that. crowd just completely fooled by the ball. I’m usually a pretty good judge but the (non) reaction by the crowd caused me to second guess myself and stay quiet until I saw the LFer stop and look at the wall. To be fair, the launch angle was 46 degrees. For comparison, there have been no MLB HRs this year at that angle or greater (out of 2,609 batted balls). last year there were a total of 7 HRs with a launch angle of 46 or more (out of 15,625). baseball gods really must hate aggy.

April 28Apr 28 The wind definitely fooled me on Henseler’s shot with the bases loaded in the 4th. My seats were up the first base line a bit so had a pretty good look down the LF field line and just hung my head when the ball left his bat. Couldn’t believe it when my buddy said “it’s foul”. And also couldn’t believe it when Duplantier followed up that pitch with another breaking ball over the heart of the plate.
April 28Apr 28 nsiap. On one angle they showed of Adrian's HR swing, you could see the almost straight up trajectory of the ball off the bat. Crazy. Pretty sure I've never seen a ball hit at that extreme of an angle leave the park. Any park.

On TV when it left the bat the trajectory was so high I thought for sure it was a pop up. I don't recall seeing a homer that left the bat at such a high angle. And you can see it on Rodriguez's face. He thought he had missed it and was very pleasantly surprised when it went out.

April 28Apr 28 Popular Post I have figured out why A&M hasn't played up to projections this season, other than the simple fact that they are aggy. The names in these two bullet points piqued my curiosity. Quote So I went and took a look at their roster, and here is my in depth analysis. They have: Caden X 2 Kaeden Kaiden Aiden Hayden X 2 Clayton Payton Gavin X 3 The coaches have no way to effectively address instruction to any individual player. It's mass confusion on the practice field.

April 28Apr 28 #2-#4 in our lineup went a combined 5 for 34 this weekend. 1 run scored, 2 RBI, 15 strikeouts, 3 walks. Tell that to aggy before the series and they would have bet the farm on them sweeping us.

April 28Apr 28 This may the best of the texags banter on the Max Weiner thread and he is only reason that former coach is successful. I kind of thought he was pretty good at TCU with Saarloos as the pitching coach. He did also then hire Weiner as his pitching coach. Lots of fun delusion here. The best part is that karma is going to get Texas as the #1 overall seed to lose in the Regional and the Super Regional. If that happens, I will then believe totally in the BOMC. He is right though because if Texas did lose in the Regional and the Super Regional, they most likely won't make the CWS. dcg4403 In reply to Adam87inSA • 10:04p, 4/26/25 AG Agreed. Always said...what REALLY pissed me off is not having my Maximus Weiner. My 12 year old today even said jokingly...."losing you Weiner is the worst" Def what was most painful for us as a big family of fans. And what sets sips apart. Cause it certainly is NOT their bats. Texas is legit. Very legit. This also means that we are close to as good. Just didnt go our way. Could be completely different next time. If karma actually exists, sip will go down as overall #1 losing in the Regional and the Super. Not make a CWS. And this year for them becomes a stain on Schloss. No F-ing way they keep winning like this through the season and into CWS. Statistics won't allow it!!! That hitting roster is not that talented to keep doing it. Edited April 28Apr 28 by NBHorn7

A&M has 5 successful SAC bunts all year long yet you would have thought this weekend they were a small ball team. He manages with a scrabble bag. They wouldn’t know competent baseball if it slapped them in the face. In some ways it did, competent baseball slapped them in the face, packed their bags, and headed to Austin
