How fucking hard did we hit him in 2005 for him to love us so much?

Obviously, just hard enough.

He is the son of a marine and loves the culture of our program under Herman. He also does not follow the sec narrative, called out aggie this week for being ranked when their results are the same as they were in our league...and they would not be ranked.

Not that it matters, but on the latest Russillo podcast they had a good quick talk on Texas vs OU, during which Todd McShay talked about how special Sam is (and also raved about Herman).

And also joked about A&M having future recruiting success because "let's just say they have a lot of resources (laughs)."

Aggie recruiting cheating has gone national.

what did Russillo say?

Just that he was really impressed by us in the LSU and OSU games. McShay basically said OU probably had a slight edge because of talent accumulation and Riley’s offense, but Herman has been gaining ground in recruiting and Sam basically closes the gap by himself.

Some students don't know anything about football. It's ok, cool hook em.

Go back and read the first few pages of this thread. The posts of the olds will make you weep for our present.

I don't know if I need to eat crow myself because I'm old and don't know how to find my posts in the first few pages. I suspect I do. So can I have some sriracha with it?

Oh yeah I was here arguing with em for that. It's all good everyone is entitled to their opinion. I could tell he was gonna be really good because the coaches kept saying he was "scrappy" in practice and downplaying how a true freshman was the best they had and they weren't able to redshirt em.

Joe Klatt is the anti-Herbie.

Klatt is what ESPN wants people to believe Herbie is. Herbie has zero authenticity and dumb dumb dumb.

Sam turned 21 years old yesterday. I hope he didn't celebrate like I did when became of age. If he did, we'll never beat West Virginia.

Someone spelt "Y" incorrectly.

Ehlinger's been an absolute machine this half. 20th career rushing touchdown.

Marched down the field vs WVU, during that review near the goal line he immediately goes up to every person on offense and starts pumping them up. Then on the very next play, scores a rushing TD on a broken play.

His leadership is insane.

he ain't right today. forcing it. not sure but he is making a number of bad decisions out there

Wonder if his rib is bothering him

How bad are his ribs hurting him? He looked waaaaaaaay off today. Almost like he was regressing (he wasn't, but clearly something isn't right).

*after the big hit by LB on QB run

This week is Sam's chance to put himself squarely in the Heisman race.

The winner of this game is going to be the leader for the time being. It’s going to take some nice stats to win.

Right now it's a crowded field with Fields, Burrow, Hurts, maybe Tua and Lawrence if they start to put up video game numbers.

mensa needs to stop turtling for sam to have a chance

Nah. The pollsters hate Texas. They won’t put Sam above tua or fields. Hell they won’t even put him above hurts even if we hot Carl hurts on tv and rusty trumbone his mom

At some point, the voters are going to stop giving it to the ou qb. They never paid attention to the tech qbs throwing for 4000 yards.

Neither did the nfl actually, but they’ve taken the ou guys first.

Is 1700 yards, 23 TDs & 0 picks so far not video game stats for Tua?

It will be a statement game for Sam or Hurts.

Let’s not act like they’ve played some awesome schedule.
