Even then it's no sure bet depending on the team. And Dallas is NOT bad enough, even if Dak got hurt game 1, to get the 1st overall pick. If they knew how to lose to get a better draft pick they wouldn't have won 4 meaningless games in november/december last year. April 28Apr 28 Eligibility up or need a miracle to come back: Campbell, Hill, Taaffe, Guilbeau, Burke, Moore, Hutson, Brevard, Shaw, Kanu, (7 drafted) 3 years in- draft eligible: Spence, Wisner, Goosby, Moore Jr., Baxter, Colton Vasek, McDonald, Spence, Arch, Lefau, Neto, Robertson (3 drafted) Double digits, just barely. Lowside I have 7 going, high side, like winning a national title, Arch saying bye and everyone deciding to go out on a high note? Could see as many as 16. Imma say 10

Lowside I have 7 going, high side, like winning a national title, Arch saying bye and everyone deciding to go out on a high note? Could see as many as 16. Imma say 10 You left off Muhammad, who is probably gone barring injury. Also Endries, the new TE, has another year but could go with a big year. You listed Spence twice. I think Kanu belongs in your second list. You also left off a bunch of Sophs that redshirted: Shannon, Randle, Stroh, Chatman, Cojoe, Lavon Johnson, Roberson, and Derek Williams. In practice I don't see any of those guys getting drafted. Maaaaaaaaybe Williams if he ends up playing a bunch and well. The new kicker and punter could conceivably get drafted. Two kickers and one punter were drafted this year. I'll say 10: Hutson, Campbell, Burke, Brevard, Moore, Guilbeau, Taaffe, Moore Jr., Muhammad, and Hill. The rest of the juniors, Arch, and Goosby stick around. Shaw redshirts to get fully healthy. No UDFAs (except the P and K).
April 28Apr 28 Derek Williams is a good catch. The rest of those guys aren’t going but should have been on there. just blanked on Muhammad, he’d be only hill need a miracle to come back category. Edited April 28Apr 28 by Wulaw Horn
April 28Apr 28 I hate to be the one to point this out, but that guy doesn’t even know that his second to last first round pick transferred to aggy.

Typically you'd see Ohio State, Bama, or Georgia with 5 players in these early lists
April 29Apr 29 I think we'll also see Sam Leavitt in these lists, although with all of these QBs, it's very much up in the air; they all need to maintain or improve their trajectory, and we've seen guys take step backs or plateau recently
April 30Apr 30 Might be a year early, but if Anthony Smith from MN puts it all together, he's going to picked early. Sophomore last year, didn't start, still lead the team in sacks and TFLs (6 and 11.5 respectively, but 5 and 10.5 in the last 7 games). Enormous human being. Normally the 6'6", 285 pounders move inside. He seems athletic enough to stay out. Apparently more of a shooty hoops guy growing up. Edited April 30Apr 30 by wablty

I'm well known to be an idiot and certainly not an NFL draft guru, but isn't that a massive number of QBs in the first 10 picks? 2024 (5 in first 10) is the only year I found 4 or more in the first 10 picks going back to 1980 but again, my search skills suck.
