We don’t even know if it’s replicable for Cignetti yet - I mean he’ll obviously have a good team next year . Will it be great?

I kinda wonder how Norvell fell off the map so hard from year to year, he was supposed to be the portal only king.

Very uneducated assumption - Sark doesn't care if he gets Cam or not, because he knows he'll finally get Dakorien Moore, whom he's wanted to be a Longhorn WR for a long time now.

Eh, think he wanted to be far away from family and distractions in Texas. He’s good, but in the biggest of his life tonight he’s done fuck all.

Whoops. I didn't even notice him

Pretty late on Friday. So are we done at OL with one random former DL from Oregon State?

Were running more sims on cfb 26, will be on the phone with flood tonight to let him know who improves the most from year to year in our dynasty. Stroh looked really good on the last run, so we may try to get him back from Kansas. I mean, he is massive and has SEC starting experience 🤷🏻‍♂️

It really feels like 100 years of conventional wisdom about roster construction in college football is changing in real time during this post-season

The college football model is changing right in front of our eyes. Indiana is showing us that high school recruiting is a relic of the past. Grown men from the portal are whipping five star 19 year olds.

Well, then the play may be to start funding the programs of the UT system to be developmental feeder programs. Take all the 2 and 3 stars and the ones that pan out get sent up to the big show.

But something they can do right now is to hire a staff of scouts that do nothing but scour college football looking for developed prospects with talent ready to be poached. Or try to money whip a few of Cignetti's scouts

The desired end product of older/experienced rosters of decently talented players with a few exceptional ones sprinkled in (especially on your lines and at QB) hasn't changed, but yea how you go about accomplishing that is getting radically....weird.

The rarest animal in the CFB zoo is about to be the highly rated reserve who didn't play much as a freshman but refuses to transfer.

You can also check out OT Jacarrius Peak in this video. He is committed to South Carolina, but if he hasn't signed anything yet, could still be viable.

If we get 2 quality RB pickups at some point Sark is gonna have to really try to add some OL transfers right? RIGHT?!?!

I assume 1/15 will look like this-

Can he play center?

Him and Brown would fully solve RB and make it one of the best rooms in the country, especially with Clark coming back. It's ok to be happy.

OT Jacarrius Peak has logged more than 2,200 snaps in college. He was at 83.5 in pass protection this past season. His run blocking grade was 66.5.

Smothers isn't that much bigger than Brown, so he's not quite the prototypical "downhill bruiser" we might have wished for as the portal opened. But he's still a 3-down RB who performed well in the ACC. I'd be happy to get him.

Smothers and Brown seem a little redundant to each other. Maybe we're planning on Clark\Cooper\White Thunder to be the power back when needed.

They’re not necessarily complementary, but they’re both proven, productive, and very talented. I’ll take it.

Dykes seemed ahead of the “curve” with his one year run. It was an insane number of transfers on that team. Crazy.

You pair those two with Dakorien Moore and Cam Coleman plus whatever FCS and G5 backup offensive linemen and just imagine the possibilities. - Surly
