Seaton is up there with Goosby as a likely first-round pick in the 2027 draft. Getting him at RT would be a massive coup, maybe even bigger than Coleman.

Some may say a moonshot.

Been keeping track of this for the past few days. Arch followed him on instagram last week, and he followed back. Seaton also followed Colin Simmons in the last day or two.

Thank you. Now, this is the kind of pertinent info that I come here for. Not kidding either.

I’d rather not have a guard than not have a tackle, right? Or a QB? You cut the “don’t want to be absolute trash anywhere” but when’s the last time you heard anyone say- you know the key to that team winning the super bowl or national title was really their fucking guard play.

he chose, instead, to play the worst Guard in UT history, and he did so long enough to ensure that Texas was going to be unlikely to make the playoffs.

Stroh’s game against Florida might be the worst performance I’ve ever seen from a UT player. It’s up there with Swoopes vs Arkansas and some Garrrett Gilbert games. Not counting the 2009 B12 title game vs Nebraska as that was a collective o-line effort.

I listened to way too much Finebaum today and it was just very sad. Basically a bunch of elderly Bama fans surviving on social security checks whining about how Texas ruined college football. New conference, same old shit.

Some low lights:

  • Paul accused Texas of paying players from an illegal NIL fund. I was speechless. He just flat out said it. No subtlety at all.

  • Bama fans predictably want to take their ball and go home. Many “I’m losing interest in college football” calls and “I don’t watch the NFL” bullshit.

  • Some regards that work at Wal Mart claiming to understand private equity and collective bargaining. Shocker, Bama fans want to PE to come in to bail their poor asses out.

When a reporter asked Coach Royal, "How close Alan Lowry was to being out of bounds?", Coach threw up the Hookem' Horns and said, "By this much." I know an Alabama fan that is still eating his liver over losing this game. Let 'baahma' fans stew in their own juice.

Any rumors where Damon Wilson is leaning to transfer?

One of the On3 national guys put out a story earlier than he was asking for $2+ million. Bama, Miami and Texas Tech were mentioned.

They talked soooooo much shit before the game. Most of them left early, but those who remained were mad mad. They didn’t like us taunting them about leaving the conference, either. Or us reminding them that we completely own them. Still.

I remember an obnoxious contingent of Texas fans who kept screaming, “Yeayah!!!!!!!” like Paulie from Jersey Shore every time we made a positive gain. Every time Garrett Gilbert herped and derped for another touchdown. The husker fans wanted to kill them by the middle of the first quarter. They had their entire section of the stadium doing it by the second quarter. There’s no way those guys left Lincoln alive.

I’m just glad I was with some bigger humans. Those Husker fans weren’t all warm and inviting. But they knew Daddy had come to town.

Please please PLEASE let Bama get involved with private equity. I would give a kidney to see the confused looks on those yokels' faces as some finance dorks strip the copper wiring out of Bryant-Denny and auction off everything Bama fans hold dear to the highest bidder, up to and including Bear Bryant's corpse

It makes little sense.
Why leave Oklahoma State for Kansas State.
It's a total lateral move. If that.

Did anybody explain this to him before he made the move?!?

I actually anticipate North Texahoma State being better than Kansass State next year. By a good margin.

Yea not really understanding the Seaton business. Either he or Goosby move to RT in a contract year and Baker to guard I guess? Feels like a hard sell

"During his high school career at St. John's College High School and IMG Academy, Jordan Seaton played both offensive tackle and guard. While he primarily operated as an offensive tackle, particularly in his senior year and as a five-star recruit, he demonstrated versatility across the offensive line prior to joining Colorado."

That's my limited searching on the subject

I don't get it. And immediately after we worked to keep Goosby from the NFL. We need guards and a center and we keep bringing in tackles. Well, it didn't work the first two times, but this time I'm sure it will go great.

Yea we’ll see, that said a first round OT elevates this line more than the current level of guards in the portal if we can make it work.

Do you 2 retards not remember the conversation we just had about Baker sliding inside to guard because he knows that’s his nfl future? Got damn idiots.

It's because IMG Academy is there, so the players get labeled as being from Bradenton.

Seaton is from Washington, DC, he spent three years at St John's, a regional football powerhouse

IF we tampered Seaton into the portal, and maybe we did given his recent social media follows, I bet the plan is to move Goosby to RT.

OTF had a good interview with Trevor earlier this week, and he discussed playing both RT and LT. He seemed to have no preference. Just compared it to shooting a basketball left and right handed. You know how to do it with both hands, but you have to get the mechanics down. Bobby has it over and over again. Trevor is focused on getting stronger and filling out his body before he goes to the NFL. He wants to be a high quality starter from the jump. He probably prefers to stay at LT, but he’ll do whatever they ask of him.
