April 29Apr 29 The Alarm is supposed to release an album this summer. Not sure if it has been totally recorded at this point and just in mixing and production.
April 29Apr 29 and yes, i may have been guilty or not guilty of a similar haircut in 1984. Edited April 29Apr 29 by yoladu
April 30Apr 30 I saw The Alarm at The Bronco Bowl back before the lead singer left the band, I guess. Dying at 66 is pretty young. Full Disclosure: •I didn’t know any of the band members names. •I thought that they were from Ireland, not Wales. •I only knew their one album (“Spirit of ‘76”?) that came out mid ‘80s ish. •We didn’t have cable, so I only saw some MTV at friends’ houses, so I didn’t know their faces.
April 30Apr 30 Saw them at San Antonio Sunken Gardens in May of 1986 memories (fuzzy!) Edited April 30Apr 30 by yoladu
May 4May 4 RIP. Great band. Still have a couple albums on vinyl somewhere. Local radio had a nice 45 tribute this morning with this included (that I didn’t recall hearing before)
May 5May 5 Can't tell if this has been posted. I really thought they were going to explode after this
