How about F You, you athlete wannabe.  Young players make mistakes. Will has done pretty well for us defensively in OF this year.  One big mistake this year through over 40 games and you do an F You post.

Pathetic.  Get a life.

The whole angle of how much Arkansas hates Texas and Texas just isn't ready for the hate is incredibly overrated.  There might be memories of a rivalry for the old timers, but it simply isn't a major

Fayettenam, by contrast, is well established historically and still appropriate.

I’m not sure there’s a better mascot to fan base correlation in all of sports than the feral pig is to Arkansas fans

Went to my first Texas Baseball game at Clark Field in 1968.

Went to mine in 1969.

Dad went to his first baseball game in 1963, 1964, or 1965.

He doesn't remember much, so that could have been after another 4 pitchers of beer at The Tavern, or something similar.  Lulz.

Me too.
I would skip school at Lanier many times for some of those weekday games.

Great memories.

90% of them are from Texas.

Real number is like 57% from Texas.  2 of mine are there studying supply chain and we have never had any issues while there even with Texas Ex stickers on cars… (but I did put a pig decal on the kids cars since they have Texas plates just in case…)

Same here.

Dad took my brother and I to our first TEXAS Baseball games there on the last Saturday of April '74, a DH against A&M for the SWC title. Texas had lost Friday night and needed to win at least one to be conference champions. They won both.

Though they still had 6 games left in May against Southwestern and Lubbock Christian, fans were invited onto the field after the DH for souvenirs of Clark field (especially Billy Goat Hill) as it was being torn down after the season to make way for the performing arts center that is there now.

My brother and Dad have both passed on, but somewhere still in Dad's house are three small pieces of Texas hill country limestone painted kelly green. 🤘

Yea I’m sure nobody told them about this and got totally blindsided.

Being told about it and experiencing it are two different things.
