May 2May 2 Texas hitters just watching repeated pitches right down the middle. Just zero plate presence today. Shake this disaster off and come back fresh tomorrow

May 2May 2 Shitty effort at the plate. If you can get strike outs looking on fastballs down the middle it’s pretty easy to pitch

Though sending Howard out there is a bit of white flag waiving.
May 2May 2 As crazy as it sounds, this will be a really good opportunity for Howard. 3 pitch mix and a fastball that he consistently hits 95-96 with.
May 2May 2 We need to score some runs and get to their bullpen. We don't need it fresh for the next 2.

May 2May 2 I want to come back and win this game just to stick it to the Arkansas fans on TV calling the game.

Jayden Duplantier also crushed a few against several good Friday night arms the last month. Doesn’t mean he is a good player just like getting touched up in a start doesn’t make you a bad player. Root is a top 5 arm in the country. 81 strikeouts in 55 innings or whatever it was tells the story more than his ERA. Edited May 2May 2 by Hookem2147
May 2May 2 It’s called he’s charged up to play the number 1 team in the country that’s 19-2 and oh yea is also Texas they’re most hated rival. He’s locked in and we look like we don’t give af. Edited May 2May 2 by Rockethorn1978

May 2May 2 Texas is 19-2 and now they’re gonna lose the series and not be number 1 anymore? LSU has 7 losses and we would have to get swept to have 5? Make it make sense espn.

May 2May 2 I’m ok getting beat by a good team. Not ok getting bf’d on TV as a number 1 looking like Prairie View A&M Edited May 2May 2 by HuntinHorn

May 2May 2 If my math is correct unlike most times this game raised Riojas' ERA by 1.23 runs. Was under 3. Now over 4.

So why would they leap frog us to number 1? Rankings aren't necessarily tied to records. They are what lever people want to rate you based on what you've done lately. If we win 1 or the next two games are close they won't. If we get boat raced 3 straight games it might happen. Doesn't matter what we are ranked until the end of the season anyways.
