Thought I'd start this thread to brainstorm things to stock up on in advance of what could be limited supplies of regular household items and certain foods.

I was going to make a Costco run in the next week or so, and thought it might be a good idea to plan ahead.

So let's hear it. What are the items that might be difficult/expensive to obtain in the next few weeks and months?

Edit from Immamac:

This thread is funny. Be funny here. Jokes, trolling etc. All stuff that is meant to be looked at as a joke. Think back to the shaggy days and be in that spirit.

CR thread already exists.

Coffee. Canned food. Apple Juice. Any medical items or medication.

Stock up on shit you need not want.

I ordered a freezer and plan on stocking it up.

https://www.investors.com/news/trump-trade-war-difficult-decisions-as-china-shipments-cease/

President Donald Trump's trade war policies are expected to bring about a 35% decline in cargo arriving at the Port of Los Angeles by next week as "essentially all shipments out of China for major retailers and manufacturers have ceased," according to Port of Los Angeles Executive Director Gene Seroka.

i've been stocking up since jan, slow and steady. shop the costco coupon book

non perishable items, that i know ill use and i have room to store things.

food items, i look for longest shelf life. lot of canned goods (tuna and spam), beans / rice / fideo, vacuum sealed packs. tuna and spam. big bag of costco oats was $6. costco had a 25 or 30 lb bag of rice for $12 or something ridiculously cheap, bought. i keep a close eye on expiration dates.

picked up extra coffee, spices and such this evening. all will get used over time.

im good for 60 to 90 days if needed. eggs and breads would be an issue. fresh meats and poultry too.

i'll probably cook a pot of soup, pot of beans and something else this weekend. i'll freeze and vacuum seal servings, many meals

need to buy some cornbread mix, powdered mashed potatoes this weekend. all cheap stuff that goes a long way

ohh yeah, lots of ammo. they kind that makes big holes. hollow points and 00.

There was a line like that in front of my place that wrapped around for blocks. played music and passed out water while I got tanked on whiskey.

It’s not that funny to the little girls who Trump says may have to get just two dolls at Christmas rather than the regular thirty!

Hope you don't run out TP in your household. Cause the girls in mine give less than a shit about dolls but once people start wiping their ass with squash leaves there will be fn hell to pay.

Thats truth. If you fuckers were serious about anything you would be loading up on bidet imports.

Do you bro. COVID shit was wild. I just drank more bloody mary's in the early phase, but not gonna judge.

i very much the meal prepping - vacuum seal freezing. it makes my life pretty damn easy. one day of cooking / making a mess .... 8 mins to heat up and eat

It was perfectly clean, TP culture is kinda dirty and disgusting, the difference was that I was regular meaning no worries about an emergency, so never bought TP or went to public bathrooms without TP.

I'll just rustle up some greens and eat crawdads. If there's no crawdads to be found I'll eat sand.

For real though, I’m not expecting even Covid level empty shelves. and if it does happen, I’ve got plenty of backpacking food stored away.  I expect an annoyance, but not Armageddon. Much like Covid actually.

Not sure about that. But lots of acrylic nails and the glazes and shit. Loaded with formaldehyde and other contaminants.

Sorry about that small business poisoning your wifes though.

I'm going to stock up on Darmine Doggy Doors, because as a great philosopher once said "My life is nothing I thought it should be and everything I feared it would become".
