May 10May 10 Even Looch going to have a hard time with Aggy losing at home to Missouri. with a three-run lead in the ninth.
May 10May 10 Wonder if Galvan is sick too? He’s not been his usual self and missed the steal early in the game.

He’s not done the jumping bean routine at bat tonight. Maybe the coaches have told him to stop or he’s not feeling great.

You dont locate and fuck people up for months and then have two starts where you get your asshole stuffed because you walk record numbers of people, leave your fastball letter high to get crushed and completely lose your spin on your off speed pitches which are then sent into the parking lot. His performance in the last to games is fucking pathetic and it isn't mental. I’m not saying he’s not hurt but Ruger’s velo is still there and he doesn’t look uncomfortable physically. I don’t know what is going on with the last couple of starts but maybe they just over calculated from what went down in Arkansas and found themselves back in the same position. It could be as simple as he got rocked so hard that it is indeed mental now. Everything that wasn’t missing the plate was up. Edited May 10May 10 by Levi Grammar
May 10May 10 They better get shit figured out quick because they are getting curb stomped and just laying down lifeless
May 10May 10 Stewart was going to pinch hit for Rodriguez that inning. I fear Rodriguez re-aggravated the hand.

Thats typically muscle fatigue or injury.

Losing control could also mean something mechanical that isn’t due to injury. I mean, the guy was thrown into the Friday night role. His first start was damn good then he gets shelled away which can happen to any pitcher. Ruger simply could have been trying to do too much on the mound tonight. Or maybe I’m just reluctant to throw out the word injury with how much we are dealing with on that front.

May 10May 10 Winfield was one of the players that had the flu. Don't know if he was available tonight or not.
May 10May 10 I taped it had some family stuff tonight. Disgusting. Even with the 6 spot first inning, we had enough going on offense if we capitalize to make it a game after 2-3 innings. Two out offense sucked dick. Fucking pisses me off.

I think he is definitely fatigued, throughout much of the season his fastball has been around 94 and touching 95. Last 2 weekends he has pretty much been sitting at 92.

May 10May 10 You can take the players away from David Pierce but you can't take the David Pierce out of the players.
May 10May 10 Will Gasparino so far in his career at Texas is hitting .253 and striking out 33% of the time. Starting to doubt if it is ever going to click. Almost has as many strike outs (130) as Jalin (141) in 145 less ABs

May 10May 10 I'm beginning to think like the mission commander in Apollo 13. Remember when the big bang happened and everyone was freakin' out and losing their cookies. He said something along the lines of "what do we have on the ship that is good"? So, what do we have on the team that is good? At this point it certainly seems as if the deck is stacked against us. One good thing is we didn't lose to Mizzou.
May 10May 10 Just a PSA if any of y’all are going to game today. It’s graduation for UT so I would avoid coming down MLK as it will in all likelihood be a shitshow.

His swing is WAY too long. Needs to compact it and get his hands through the zone faster. Figured he would’ve shored that up over the offseason. I was wrong.

Figured he would’ve shored that up over the offseason. I was wrong. He has shortened up some and early in the season his pitch selection was better. He was getting a lot more walks. To me though he has some real foundational issues with his stance and swing. I’d much rather see him stand taller. He looks like a tall guy trying to swing like a short guy.
