So does sunderland have a larger following because of the show?  
 

It never felt to be at near the level of wrexham, though the ownership angle has a lot do do with that too.

I think Sunderland has a larger following because they have been in the EPL recently. They are a much more successful club than Wrexham.

I guess I meant did their following grow since their documentary? 
 

just started  the next season of wtw.  I hope they do go in depth on the business growth side and how they can get the entire entity up to par for the higher leagues, since the match record is known.

It did to some extent. Rob McElhenney admitted that the idea to buy a soccer team came from watching Sunderland 'til I Die.
