Definitely our A+ squad today. Those guys had a shutout until Flores booted a routine double play ball. Are you bitching about Walker’s performance today?

May 23May 23 Just now, Beer Drinker said: Those guys had a shutout until Flores booted a routine double play ball. Are you bitching about Walker’s performance today? I am saying we didnt throw our best guys and go all out to win it the same way that Tenn did. And we barely lost. Had this been a tourney game and we played with our A squad, we wouldve won. Why is that difficult to understand?

Don't count on our bats for the postseason. But, as you can see, we are good for four or five runs. That will have to do.
May 23May 23 1 minute ago, Beer Drinker said: Those guys had a shutout until Flores booted a routine double play ball. Are you bitching about Walker’s performance today? He wasn’t he was recognizing we didn’t bring A team pitching. We went to the pen in the 5th? We would prefer our pitcher to last longer or even bring Grubbs in sooner. Bottom line, Schloss didn’t pitch this as a must win.

May 23May 23 The only B squad out there was our starting pitcher who was fucking nails. The pen once he got pulled was the same as it has been all year. How would you have played it different? Edited May 23May 23 by Beer Drinker

We will win our Regional. Edited May 23May 23 by Valmy77
May 23May 23 Annoying that the relievers we'll rely on in the tournament wasted a great effort by Walker. Otherwise I'm fine with getting out of Alabama.

May 23May 23 I dont know if its Tulo or Schloss calling the offensive strategy shots but we need to start taking some early pitches and making them throw strikes. We just swing at garbage early in the count and never put them in fastball situations.

May 23May 23 A&M last year lost 2 of their final 3 SEC series and went 0-2 in this tournament and it turned out just fine.

May 23May 23 mainly wanted to win for 2 reasons 1) just momentum and 2) that douchebag Vitello is a douchebag.

May 23May 23 It was obvious that Schloss would try to win but wasn’t going to go all out when there is little to gain. He now knows more than he did coming in. Hopefully, they learned a bit and will get rested up and ready for the run that matters more.
May 23May 23 We have a 23% K rate this year. A&M was 22% last year and that lineup was miles better than this one and they still struck out a crap ton. It is part of the offense. Eventually people will accept it. We make 27 outs in a game and this staff has openly said they are willing to have a lot of those be strikeouts in exchange for more walks and driving up pitch count.
May 23May 23 LaViolette broke his hand and is out for the remainder of the SEC Tourney. Aggy Coach: "We think if we can get this done (surgery), we might have him back for the postseason." Hey Corch, what postseason? Edited May 23May 23 by Hondo

I mean that would be great if we weren't Yolo'ing the first two pitches of every at bat. We aren't really driving up pitch counts and looking for walks the last few series.

So guessing they just got lucky in those other 106 innings.
