The reality is you can easily find free streams for any sporting event you want to watch, and the days of 480p/buffering/lagging shitstreams are long gone. They can eat all the dicks if they think I'm signing up for Peacock's streaming service. If youtubeTV keeps fucking around and raising prices, I'll be pirating everything soon.

How many strokes does it take you to complete 72 holes? That's all that matters. This. Par is meaningless. Make every hole a par 3 and winning score is +50. Make every hole a par 5 and winning score is -50. You shoot what you shoot. Lowest score wins. Regardless of whether it is a black or red number.
June 13Jun 13 Rain overnight Friday into Saturday. Course will be softer and gettable Saturday morning for the guys that manage to fight below the cut line.

Hell, not that long ago you could barely watch more than the back 9 on the weekends. Army Brat will tell us about listening to radio broadcasts of Ralph Guldahl and Walter Hagen wins.

NBC showed the Olympics on NBC, USA Network, The Golf Channel, CNBC… maybe one or two more. I don’t have a Paramount Plus subscription, but I inhaled more Olympics last year from Paris than any doctor would ever recommend. And at no additional charge.

June 13Jun 13 Streaming link. I have VPN and use Firefox with UBlock to try to keep the shenanigans to a minimum. You can try the US Open links or the Sky Sports links. Spoiler https://golfstreams.me/us-open-streams Advice. You can usually always find streams for any sporting events. You just have to use the right search engine. Google, Bing and the mainstream engines filter the streaming sites. Yandex, which is a Russian site, doesn't. I use Yandex when I search for streams for any sporting event. Again, use VPN and some sort of Adblock. Also I use a browser specfically for any shit where I might visit a site which will give my PC AIDS (streams, torrents, and pron). I have Firefox which does not link to any accounts or anything. I have Ublock and other security stuff installed on it. Lastly I have it delete all history when I exit the program. That may seem like work but it's cheaper than paying for YouTube TV and other streaming shit. I haven't had "cable" TV in 6 years. Never missed any UT games or any sporting events.
June 13Jun 13 And then drove it straight into the church pews at 3. That is going to be a hell of a 2nd shot.
June 13Jun 13 In other tournaments, I do not know what the winners stats were for FIRs and GIRs, but I imagine in this tourney, he would have to be top 5 in those 2. I just can't imagine anyone winning this by missing a ton of fairways. Miss a fairway and you are basically playing for bogey.

Probably but putting is going to matter a lot with how hard these greens are. Think the winner is going to need to be good off the tee and good rolling the ball.
June 13Jun 13 Holy smokes. Apparently Spaun's round yesterday was just the 8th bogey-free round ever in a US Open at Oakmont. Which lends credence to my incredulousness that he found a 66 out there. Edited June 13Jun 13 by ztejas
June 13Jun 13 Spaun made six putts from 7-16 feet yesterday to save par which is pretty damn crazy. 66 could’ve easily been 70+. I think the lead is -2 at the end of the day.
June 13Jun 13 Man this place is just eating guys alive. You really have to have a horseshoe up your ass to post some of these rounds in the 60s.

Saw that stat, too. He's been playing well this year, but hasn't finished. Interested to see how he holds up under major pressure.
June 13Jun 13 Vik throwin darts. Would love to see him get one. 5 minutes ago, Redneck Mutha said: Interested to see how he holds up under major pressure. He strung 4 rounds together at TPC (led after R1 and R3 - was a shot back after R2). Anyone that can do that can do it at a major. Will he - not sure. This course doesn't appear to be discriminating. June 13Jun 13 Author I found something to root for, feel free to join in - Phil is currently -1 today thru 4, +3 for the tournament. I'm rooting for him to blow up sometime this afternoon and miss the cut, however if he does manage to play the weekend, the I get 2 more days to see him struggle. I used to be a Phil phan, but that was years ago, today he is easy to hate....not quite as much a Fatrick but in the neighborhood,
