Bruce Pearl is headed to TNT to do guest appearances on a college basketball show with Jalen Rose, Jamal Mashburn and Chris Webber

And Steven lost his first (unofficial) exhibition game to OKST in OT

Season 4 Wow GIF by The Office

IIRC, a victim of reclassifying at a too young of age and especially at a fishbowl school like UK.

I never put much thought into the results of these secret scrimmages. There's no real gameplan being executed.

Yeah -  the one where Nebraska beat BYU, I don't think the BYU PG even played the entire 2nd half of it.

Teams try out weird lineups, the stars may not play more than 10-15 minutes, etc.  Texas didn't have 2 of theirs play in their scrimmage.

Yup, I can tell things have changed just by looking at Tech's schedule. Still have our fair share of cupcakes on here, but last year we only had A&M on the schedule before conference play.

I would be very surprised if we were a 6 seed this year. I think we have a better team than we did last year, assuming team health holds up.

Anything can happen, though, of course.

Probably something along the lines of "I should send O'sullivan's wife another picture of my dick"

UK/Purdue wrapping up on SECN and KU/UL just starting on ACCN.

interesting point, and he's not wrong.

What little I watched of it Arkansas looked good vs Memphis last in their exhibition matchup.

At the direction of the NCAA Men's and Women's Basketball Committees, the national office will implement player availability reports for the 2026 Division I Men's and Women's Basketball Championships.

The NCAA is committed to protecting student-athletes' well-being and competition integrity from sports betting influences and continues to analyze the current landscape to devise effective initiatives to increase protections. Player availability reports during the tournaments can reduce the betting-related pressure, solicitations and harassment student-athletes receive connected to their playing status.

Speaking of the Hoyas, they put a whoopin’ on Big Blue last night in their exhibition matchup.

Zona looking salty against the defending champs
Not much defense in this game so far

Peat looking pretty legit. Big & athletic
