“Arsenal have received a boost after scans suggested neither Bukayo Saka nor Martin Odegaard have sustained long-term injuries following their early exits in Saturday’s 5-0 win over Leeds United.

“The north London side’s head coach Mikel Arteta initially feared Saka had suffered a “significant” hamstring injury in the second half of the victory at the Emirates Stadium, while captain Odegaard also left the pitch clutching his right shoulder during the first half.“

Looks like we dodged a bullet; feared worse given his reaction. Four weeks puts him out for Pool and Forest but back for City.

He doesn’t need to play 95’ every single match now that we have decent cover at RW. Arteta really needs to monitor his minutes.

so many overly negative arsenal fans still out there. do they not remember where we were not that long ago?

shouts out to the board, the kroenkes, edu, berta, and obviously arteta. seriously, we are in dreamland compared to where we used to be. the trophies are coming; just don’t wait for them to come to be happy with where we are. i wish more of our online and english fans could get on board.

FWIW… Opta projects us to have the 3rd easiest CL slate.

Trossard out now, too? Good thing we signed Eze.

four minutes in and saliba is out. FAK. i can’t take any more of this shit.

What a great pass from Z and run from Nomi, but Pools RB with a fantastic tackle

Clear foul but agree with the announcers, shouldn’t be a yellow on Grav

Cavanaugh started off well, but now seems whistle happy

Had to use 1 of the 3 sub windows because of the Saliba injury.  Wonder if we make a halftime change so as to still have 2 opportunities left.  Martinelli has offered noting going forward, Eze could come on, but Arteta loves Matineills defense.  I’m guessing they stay the course

So far of the signings Zubimendi is a huge upgrade over Partey, Madueke a legit threat at backup RW, Mosquera solid.    Given he midfield, Gyokeres lack of activity today was a given.    Ready for Eze.

Madueke keeps fucking with Kerkez and Kerkez does not seem amused

Kerkez has been beaten with pace but that kid has done a great job recovering

Not having Saka Is killing us on corners.

And with Martinelli we ain’t won anything on the left.

madueke has been our best player by a mile. he’s so dangerous. i want to see eze and odegaard/nwaneri come on soon.

Basically Eze first touch he gets a ball in the middle of the box that we never see.

Considering how dangerous Eze looked not starting him or bringing him on earlier was a mistake.

That’s probably it for Martinelli, other than EFL and FA cup.

Martinelli has been so quiet. How fast they rise and fall.
