Somehow Kansas is only getting 6.5 at Central Michigan. Gonna bet that and I don't know shit about CMU.

nice one there, i presume you meant CMU - 6.5

CMU won @ Kansas last year 45-27.  Need to research any key player changes.  at home though, CMU seems they will smash kill the birds

Edited by NowThis

Kentucky tried to give them the game yesterday. Not sure cmu is any good at all.

But Kansas.

right now Im seeing several lines I like.

Ball St +33.5  -  cause after ND whooped that MI ass, you know money is flowing in on them.

Cent MI +6.5   - Cause duh KU sucks, and CM beat them last year

Tulsa +21    -   I mean do I even need to say why?

San Jose St  +35.5    -they are playing Wazzu.  I know the Pirate is there, but 5 td's is a lot of points for them

loving Hawaii this year.  They are -17.5 at home vs RICE who has to fly all the way out there and lost to Houston by 18.

Rainbows beat Navy 59-41 and will put up 60 on Rice who doesn't have the horses to put up 40.

I'll look at the yardage a little more but right now loving Bows -17.5.  Would love to see the team totals on this when they come out later this week

Surely there is a separate tread for Clemson only -12.5 against aggy. That’s about as EZ$ as you can get.

If aggy somehow keeps it under 2 TDs, there will be parades for weeks and at least 4 stautes of Jimbo popping up before the next week.

Ga Tech -2.5 @ USF  looks really good as USF lost their long time QB Flowers to the NFL. Ga Tech is much more talented on the OL/DL and USF has tons of penalties as this is a Strong team.

I was going to guess 24.

30 will probably keep me away.

I missed the TCU -21 vs SMU  opening line, but -23 still seems reasonable. SMU was down 36-0 heading into the 4th quarter before scoring their points against what I assume was the North Texas scrubs. The Mean Green have a decent squad, but they aren't TCU. First half spread might be the way to go here, but we won't see that line for a few more days.

Rice Hawaii O/U is only 68.5?  with a 17.5 spread , implies Hawaii TT is 48 which I'll take as an over. Will also take the game over 68.5

wanted to edit (timeout) that Rice gave up almost 600 yards to Houston, in Owl Stadium, with a 45-27 (72 total).  Hawaii games have gone 77 and 100 points this year. Rice was 1-11 last year and struggled with Prairie View A&M

We’re 30 point dogs to OU.  Yikes.

I’m taking UCLA to cover.

Yeah, 30 seems like a lot. I think that may be somewhat of an overreaction to Week 1 games. I would take UCLA and the points, see it as something like a 45-20 type game that could be something like 35-14 if the weather is a slog, as some projections for Hurricane Gordon involve significant wind and rain in Oklahoma on Saturday.

Central Michigan is down to 4.5...weird move.  Anyway, I'll fire at it at that level.

CMU -4.5

Ball State +34.5  Tough bounce back for ND and Ball State will be able to move the ball and score some.

Western Michigan +28 @ Michigan.   WMU had 3 very close losses last year to small schools and 2 respectable losses to USC and Mich State last year. Their only blowout was the bowl by 27 but this game vs. Michigan IMO will be closer to the Mich St 2017 game.

I've got

TCU -21.5

UAB -10

CMU -4.5

UNLV -23.5

Baylor/UTSA over 50

Clemson -12.5

Arizona +3.5 @ Houston, Sumlin returns . Was 4.5 last night.  AZ looks good here, I don't think UH can pull a victory against a P5 team.

Any thoughts on the USC/Stanford game? I have the line at Trees -5.5. Interesting as the Texas game doesn't look near as tough in SC's eyes, and this is a conference rival game and Stanford looked pretty good in the opener.

this is looking excellent considering BSU smashed Troy, a respectable program, in their house.

Yep, and UCONN got smashed at home by UCF.

Wash St -34.5 at home vs. San Jose State who lost 44-38 to UC Davis last week.  Like -34.5.

Also, the O/U is only 65.5. IMO, WSU might get 63 pretty easily and SJSU will get some garbage points. The Over looks great.

what do y'all think about Pitt +9 at home vs. Penn State?

weekly sucker bet - NW, SCAR, BYU and ASU ml parlay.  .5 unit for 16 units.

Wash St -34.5 at home vs. San Jose State who lost 44-38 to UC Davis last week.  Like -34.5.

Damn that over does look good. What am I missing?

Nw -2.5

GT -3.5

Clem -12.5

Ball St +34.5

KST/MST under 54.5

Also watch the weather.... Sloppy grass fields and or wind and get in on the unders before market adjusts.

Thanks for reminding me: re UConn.  They are atrocious.   Very, very thin and very, very untalented.

was in vegas this week.  it took until freaking thurs morn for mgm and their group to fucking put up over under lines for college football game totals this week.  stupid.

went to tropicana instead.

locked in some larger bets.

5dimes does not allow parlay on the same game, at least i don't know how

FWIW: historical data shows rain doesn't affect the O/U unless there's another weather factor like cold or wind.

Passing/home teams tend to benefit on the spread.

CMU is down to 3.5  lot of movement in that line.

Anybody like Colorado +3 @ Nebraska?

Could be opening game mistakes for Nebraska and Colorado smashed Colorado State.

I feel like I'm reaching.

Who in the hell is pounding Kansas in a road game?

That "expert" on Gameday picked Kansas to cover at 3.5.

My line is 3.5 but I am laying off.   Just too much movement for me.

My early games:

UH -3.5

UH -2.5 for half

Western Mich +28

UCLA +29.5

I post these so you can all do the opposite and win some money.

yeah that kansas line seems fishy.  think i need to stay away.

my early action:

  • georgia tech -3
  • northwestern -2.5
  • purdue/eastern michigan over 50.5

I just don't get this one. KU was 0-5 on the road last year losing by an average margin of 31 pts. I find it hard to believe they have improved much considering they lost their home opener to an  FCS school as a 7 pt favorite. CMU is probably mediocre but they won in Lawrence last year by 18. What am I missing here?

I grabbed this line when it came out figuring it would move the opposite direction. I'm tempted to double down, but I'll probably wait to see if KU can grab an early lead and then check out the in game ML odds for CMU.

So far I’m in Kansas State to win, UCLA to cover, Texas to cover, Clemson to cover, Duke to cover, and Navy to win.  Am I missing any easy money?

Trying to overcome a horrific week 1.

Arizona +3.5 @ Houston

Georgia Tech -3 @ South Florida

Mississippi State -7.5 @ Kansas State

UCLA +30 @ Oklahoma

Arkansas State +36 @ Alabama

Georgia -10 @ South Carolina

Clemson @ Texas A&M u 52.5

Arkansas -13.5 @ Colorado State

New Mexico State @ Utah State -23

Rice @ Hawaii -17

added Eastern Michigan +15.5 vs. Purdue

Boise St tt over 48.5 vs. Uconn

Added South Florida to win and AZ to cover (for the Summy Lutz).
