Looking to extend, enclose and upgrade our back porch. Any recs on companies that can design and build? South Austin back porch.

How much space are you enclosing? Make it another room, like a 4-season porch, or something larger where a steel-framed enclosure could cover a lot more?

I’m doing the latter option when I build in a few years, if steel isn’t stupid high by then.

roughly 24x18 guessing. Thinking year round use. I have no idea what would be best. It will need to support my ass so I can get up and clear leaves. Lots of oaks overhanging/close by.

Are you going to air condition the space?  That's a lot space to add on without it affecting the balance of the air flow/AC

will you be laying pipe in said patio?

on a patio that gets occasional use, a mini-split seems ideal.

Screened in porch. No ac, just some ceiling fans.

I’d imagine that this is the type of inspiration Steel Shank is looking for. Now all he needs is a nice, cold Bud Light.

We used Allied Outdoor Solutions. They did our patio and entire backyard with a pool, turf, built in kitchen and putting green.

Their onsite teams were awesome, their inside team was annoying with incomplete answers but luckily the onsite people took care of the communication issues we had and handled it internally.
