Through all the frustration and anger, I have to somewhat laugh at the fact that the first two pitchers in our regional final game were Hudson Hamilton and Ethan Walker. Imagine telling someone that b

He misses a lot of those, just like the 2-base error he just made.

Uh, that ain't on Kimble.

That's a throwing error.

How do yall not understand that’s a throwing error? First game?

“Jonah’s throw was too aggressive” - someone on this board probably…

I mean, it is, but a long-time 1B probably scoops that shit.  Maybe comes off the bag, but he scoops it.

I've seen official scorers blame that sometimes on 1B and sometimes on 3B.

Wouldn't be surprised if it gets switched yet, neither.

That's how outfielders get those assist stats.

No. Just no.

Ended up being a wicked throw for a guy who didn't even look serious about gunning him out. Pure talent.

Wow… Borba made a play

Made half of a play.  I'll admit it, he sucks.  I've been Team B most of the season.  At one time, he seemed (at least to me) like there timely hitting and decent defense.  I can no longer defend him.  He's earned all angst you guys give out.  I've earned a tongue lashing and 31 lashes.  I'm over it.

Yeah I mean can’t have him throwing his shoulder out.  Need him to take some wide receivers heads off this fall when they go over the middle.

That doesn’t mean it’s an error on the 3. It’s a throwing error on Borba.

Jonah is such a great player. Damn.

He could be a Golden Spikes type guy here if he sticks to baseball.

Borba at least once a game:

The throw home should always be the way Yasiel Puig does it.

Could Jonah have been sent home?

I thought so.

Fuckkkkkkk you gotta send him there

100%. One of the few times making the 3rd out at home would be acceptable

Want to see a replay where the ball was, think Jonah would have made it?

Might be a Takeo Spikes type guy instead.

If there were a play at the plate, he might have killed the catcher so…

He hesitated for a second at first like he didn’t know there were 2 outs.

and the borba throw is the error but a 1b needs to make sure that ball doesn’t get by him.  By gloving it or coming off to field it.

Yeah, not running on contact there cost us the run.

That’s why I think you gotta send him. Even if he gets out you start at the top of the lineup the next inning.

You have to force them to make the play.  More often than not they don't.

chances of 3 straight hits… very low

Wasted a chance

These guys get it

Opposite of last night so far: plenty of hits and only 1 run.

Might need them to start handing out free baserunners and errors again.

The ball had just left the left fielders hand as he hit third. Cutoff would have had to make a perfect throw
