September 1Sep 1 Author Harvey to Villa on loan with £35mn obligation (PSR money games) Guehi to LFC for £35mn A little smoke about Morgan Rogers
September 1Sep 1 This is a very nice way to enter the international break. Edited September 1Sep 1 by mdmost
September 1Sep 1 Palace better figure it out because they're about to get nothing for him, instead of 40M. How about a Joe Gomez loan? Igor backed out of going on loan to them so now they're scrambling. Edited September 1Sep 1 by mdmost
September 1Sep 1 We have a dealsheet in for Guehi so it all comes down to Palace letting him go since they just got a CB in Jaydee Canvot.
September 1Sep 1 Guehi not happening. Glasner won out and the deal is off. I guess losing 40M is worth it to them.
September 2Sep 2 The Glasner stuff is ridiculous because he’s 100% leaving Crystal Palace for the first big-time job that opens up (likely United once Amorim is sacked). He’s already in the last year of his current manager contract as it is.

I thought it was at least break-even from a PSR perspective because we amortized half of his 6-year deal, so his book value would have been somewhere between £35-45M depending on what add-ons were achieved.

That's just me looking on Transfermarket. Bought for X, sold for X. It wasn't a massive loss and it funded what we have now so that's a win.

September 14Sep 14 Correct. Given he's still getting up to speed on the position, better to not let him get baited into a 2nd yellow.

September 14Sep 14 Wow. I remember when I first started really started paying attention to EPL soccer in the 2010's. It seemed as if Chelsea and Man City won every game in the 95th min. It's more fun on this side.
