December 6Dec 6 Author Well one of the two of them will be gone by the time AFCON is over. Maybe both.

December 7Dec 7 to me, his ego is doing all of this. if you love the club, you don’t do this sort of stuff…after 3 games where you’re not the center of attention, no less. Chiesa has been getting knifed in the back for 1.5 years here and has never said a disgruntled word. Salah is creating an unnecessary cloud over the club at a time where we’re already in the shitter and made it that much more difficult for us to recovery. is somebody like Guehí looking to jump ship to a shitshow like this now?
December 8Dec 8 Pretty sure Mo did this with Klopp just not as nuclear option wise. If I say anything there will be fire or something like that. I get he’s frustrated but he just made himself bigger than the club. I love Mo but nuking your manager is a shitty move when he’s not wrong to bench you. Carragher wasn’t wrong two weeks ago when he said you never hear from Mo in rallying the team. Only from VvD. I love Mo but all good things eventually end. I hate that he’s going out this way. But this what happens when you are losing or mediocre and no one has a clue to fix it.
December 8Dec 8 No Mo on the Inter travel group. No Gakpo for a few weeks because of an injury he got at Leeds. So I guess we can see if addition by subtraction happens. No Chiesa due to illness.
December 8Dec 8 This might be the first time Slot is pressed to use Ekitike/Isak/Wirtz at the same time? Not sure what formational options he has otherwise in terms of attacking prowess. Maybe a 4-4-2 with Wirtz on the left and Szobo on the right with his usual combination of either Grav/Macca/Jones in MF behind. My personal preference is to see Jones on the left side of that double-pivot; I think he’s looked fairly sharp and I think he links up well with Wirtz.
December 9Dec 9 Bradley's strategy of kicking the ball right at the defender doesn't seem to be working.
December 10Dec 10 The penalty was dubious at best, but we’ll take anything we can get. I’d love for Slot to run it back over the weekend, but would sub Wirtz in for Macca as the “10” and I’d consider Bradley and Kerkez in at fullback just so we have some attacking width. It’s a tough trade-off because we’ve looked more defensively solid, but Gomez is poor going forward and Robbo also took some strangely horrific touches in attack. Hopefully Chiesa is back in play over the weekend and gets a fair shake to show something as well.
December 10Dec 10 Bradley has to sit out with a one game ban. At least we'll get to see more of what the offense can do without Gakpo.

Forgot they mentioned that on the broadcast. Guess that means Gomez & then Kerkez in all likelihood. Feels like Frimpong has been out forever… Yes, I am desperate to see this team click without Gakpo so Slot can see that he’s a rotational player and not an auto-starter in these lineups. December 12Dec 12 Author Salah back in the squad for this weekend. I could still see him sitting on the bench the whole game if that’s how the game goes but we don’t have much wing depth at the moment.
December 12Dec 12 All I’ve learned from this is that Slot would rather make up with a player who publicly calls him out than start Federico Chiesa in a Premier League game.
December 13Dec 13 HUGO! What a start. Gomez with the great header assist. Edited December 13Dec 13 by mdmost
December 13Dec 13 Joe Gomez is made of fucking glass, man. Pretty obvious why he never saw minutes over Konaté. He’s incapable of playing 2 matches in a row.
December 13Dec 13 Wirtz with the ball is so enjoyable to watch. It’s so natural and fluid. Look at Mo being a team player.
December 13Dec 13 If Ekitike ever learns to lift his fucking head and pass the ball without taking 6 extra touches, this attack will be unstoppable. I cannot believe he completely ignored Wirtz’s run.
December 13Dec 13 We needed that. Brighton is going to get pulled out of their shape more leaving themselves open for counters.
December 13Dec 13 That was poor by Mo…just play it side to Robertson…you had 8 seconds to play that ball.
December 13Dec 13 Much needed win and clean sheet. Never needed a week between matches more with all the injuries.

TAA was one of one. Bradley ain’t the guy though. He’s got the availability of Thiago with 1/10th the ability.

Saturday at 06:44 PM4 days Author Really concerning how slow we play. What was the point of buying Isak when we have no idea how to accommodate a true #9?
