That left side of the infield defensively might not be what you want unless a notable improvement was made over the fall. Is Borba the best option still at 1st?

Article on Jonah. Will be interesting to see what develops. Shea Morenz participated with the baseball team during football spring training but that was long ago. Sark and Schloss seem to want him to concentrate on one sport at a time.

Excerpt:

After Texas later closed out its regular season with a 27-17 win over Texas A&M, Williams was seen pointing to the stands at Royal-Memorial Stadium where a few of his baseball teammates were celebrating. He then stopped to tell KVUE a few words.

"Onto baseball season. Let's go," Williams said.

Texas football: Will departures set safety Jonah Williams...

After a successful debut in baseball, Texas freshman Jonah Williams hasn't yet made the same impact with the football team this fall. Will that change at the Citrus Bowl?

I think so. I remember someone in the game thread mentioning a Jonah Williams siting.

I saw him in on one tackle I thought

Texas athletic page has Williams with one solo tackle and two assists in the Citrus Bowl.

He had one TFL tackle for a four yard loss.

Did Matteo Bocchi play basketball?

I got my email about my season ticket selection time. It's Monday afternoon, but I'll be in court then. If y'all snake all the good seats, I'll sue!

Isn’t this type of thing exactly what paralegals are for?

Texas A&M’s hitting coach resigns weeks before 2026 season

Story by Jarrett Johnson, Aggies Wire

• 4h •

1 min read

Texas A&M will be searching for a new recruiting coordinator and hitting coach after Caleb Longley resigned just one month before the start of the 2026 baseball season.

The news, first reported Monday morning by D1Baseball’s Kendall Rogers, stems from a dispute between Longley and the university regarding his private business, MARV Training. While the full details have not yet been made public, head coach Michael Earley was aware of the situation, and assistant coach Troy Claunch is expected to assume the role on an interim basis.

Longley’s lone season in College Station produced mixed results. The Aggies struggled to generate consistent offense through the first half of 2025, due in part to injuries to key hitters Gavin Grahovac and Caden Sorrell. Still, the lineup eventually found its stride, finishing with 95 home runs—the third‑highest single‑season total in program history.

Despite the timing, Longley remains a respected young coach with a strong reputation, and he is expected to succeed wherever he lands next. Losing a hitting coach just weeks before Opening Day is far from ideal, but with Earley’s offensive pedigree and Claunch’s experience, the Aggies believe they are positioned to navigate the transition.

Below is the breaking report from D1Baseball’s Kendall Rogers.

Well, there weren't any seat adjacent to the ones I already had, so my new tickets are in a whole different section. So there's that. But I have them.

Yeah, expecting to pick up a few more seats to those you already have is next to impossible now. 4-5 years ago? Maybe then, but not now.

My tickets, less expensive and in one of the plaza sections are hard to get any extra around you. Up behind the plate and between the dugouts most likely is not gonna happen. I did just see today that a guy I know and that had seats just in front of me and only two seats down, didn't renew. (??) I wish he had contacted me beforehand as myself and the two guys in front of me would have easily split his two between us. 🤘

Just got same tickets as past several years. I would love to be able to switch to home field dugout but those never open up.

Got my 4 tix on the 3rd base dugout front row. Can't wait for this baseball season to start.

Great place to watch the game but easy to get absolutely roasted when the sun's out. Bring some coppertone. And some assorted junk-drawer items to throw at the opposing players.

I snagged the last available season ticket today. We have season tickets but wanted to add 2 more. By the time it was our turn there was only 1 left

Fucker. I just needed one at 3pm.

one thing I will say is that there will be 100% games ai cannot make. Will post them here and send them surlyites way.

Only caveat is Longhorns only. No one rooting against the Horns will sully my seats.

#1349

Thanks BrazilHorn!

The craziest thing about this for me is that this is the first time I've ever tried to get baseball season tix, and afaik it's the first time, at least since the expansion, that they've sold out. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about that.

I miss the days before we had a softball team and the tennis center. Parking was easy. 🤣

Oh, and we need a bigger baseball stadium!
