uh.... even though Im a season ticket holder, and picked reasonably early... season parking is already sold out... wtf

You needed to purchase when you paid for your season tickets. It sells out quickly every year (last 3-4) since season tickets have become an item.

Great place to watch the game but easy to get absolutely roasted when the sun's out. Bring some coppertone. And some assorted junk-drawer items to throw at the opposing players.

Better have a hell of an arm to clear that 50' NETTING in front of him

Music Video Wtf GIF

😮

No wonder I can never get any extra....

Season ticket holder since '17 with same 2 seats since '18 and my slotted time for seat upgrade ( if I wanted to) is an hour behind you?

No offense to you but, ... I object! I strenuously object!!

Looking through some final stats, I don't think enough appreciation is being given to the fact that Adrian Rodriguez played the second half of the season with basically one hand and only batting left-

Where does the netting begin? I swear I've sat right at 3rd base and was nowhere near any netting.

It's full netting from behind the plate to end of each dugout.

Years ago it was ONLY behind the plate but that was some time ago. Too many idiots on their cell phones at the ball park or just plain ol' not paying attention, along with the attorneys (Surly??) that want to sue stadiums in defense of the idiots that shouldn't be there in the first place.

Well, DUDE, not sure what to tell you but when I renewed back in October and talked on the phone with the box office people at Texas Athletics, I could have bought one THEN as it was offered. But it was $200 for parking and another $200 for the loyalty points charge. I chose not too as I've hardly ever had an issue with parking or walking or bit.

You got me by a year with the season tickets so what do I know . Was just passing some info as it was told to me.

I guess it's all based on loyalty points - which, trust me, I don't have much of. At most, I might have had 1 or 2 more than you. That doesn't give me much hope for next year, either, even though I'll be on the list. Pretty sure I won't move up the list just because they didn't get to me this time. I'm sure the list order will start all over again just based on points.

I miss the days before we had a softball team and the tennis center. Parking was easy. 🤣

Oh, and we need a bigger baseball stadium!

Yeah, it's time. Either expand seating or build a new one.

Considering this is the first time season tickets sold out, maybe the powers that be will agree.

Pro tip: You can't use this to purchase season tickets, but if your company does charity donation matching (using Benevity as an example), you might be able to donate to the Longhorn Foundation through it and double the number of loyalty points you'd receive compared to donating directly to the LF.

Right or wrong, I have always suspected many season tickets/parking are purchased by ticket brokers and/or people acting as their agents. Evidenced by the vacant seats in prime areas even for key games. Some regulars will sell their tickets but I would think not that many unless they are a broker agent.

Anyone know if they review the number of season tickets one individual purchased as recently started in football ?

What say you @BillyGoatHill ?

This year was the first year that they capped tickets for an individual at 8. I haven't seen that in past years.

There are no doubt still brokers ( or individuals trying to make $$$) buying them though as I have NEVER met the guy that has the four seats down from me (my two are on the aisle).

Not very fun sometimes sitting next to aggys, TX ST, or can be the worst, LSU fans. There was almost a brawl with 5-6 of them in our section last year on Friday night. And these guys were in their 40-50's but just drunk obnoxious assholes. Usually traveling fans have better behavior.

For the last couple/few years if you missed a game, you got an automated email the next day saying they missed you at the ball park. So they are keeping tabs on who is using their tickets. I was able to get to every game last year (no travel during the season last year) except for the Saturday game during Easter , so those tickets I gave away to someone on here. Only the big rivalry games/series (Aggy, LSU) are high demand and making any extra money.

I have two total (didn't know a guy in front of me wasn't renewing or I would have bought his this year through him) as myself and others around me are always looking for a few more. Looks like that isn't gonna happen. As it is , my wife only goes to a few games with me so I normally go to the ticket window before games to give away my extra. And just giving it away (one) is sometimes hard to do. Have done that for a number of years as I learned it from a guy in the post covid year when they limited seats and he would give his extras away.

Plus, it keeps you from getting the email from the school. 🤘
