Can you post an obituary notice because I can't find anything on his passing. I knew Steve well when I was in Austin. I even played some with him on a team in that Zaragosa League in East Austin.

October 8Oct 8 Aiden was great against Tech up in RR and followed it up last Friday at the Disch against Lamar (I don't subscribe to his site in the off season, but pretty sure Kendall was there Friday night getting a look. Who else would have D1BASBL plates on their truck?)

October 9Oct 9 He got rid of the @sandiego weekend... I has a disappoint*. I work in San Diego 5-6 times a year now. Bringing Tommy Nicholson's UC Davis team in to Austin that weekend. *I won't start the fire schlossnagle thread yet... So we are loading up on cupcakes pre SEC...

They don't go on the road for the first four weeks (not counting neutral site contests in Houston), and don't have an away series until six weeks in when Texas visits The Plains in SEC play. October 18Oct 18 When/ if the Vitello deal becomes official, could Tennessee players hit the portal now and be eligible to play on their new team in February, or is the enrollment deadline the fall semester? Edited October 18Oct 18 by TXRed

On topic, their 25 class has 2 top 100 guys that are from Texas. 6’6 lefty OF from Drip and a righty arm from Southlake.

But I’d keep the December window entrants ineligible, just cuz

October 20Oct 20 It's a stupid role if their players can't transfer and play right away if he leaves. I understand not letting players be eligible right away in non coaching change situations. But players go to schools as much for the coach as for the school. I highly doubt that rule lasts very long. Someone will sue and it will get changed.

October 21Oct 21 Tennessee is getting salty. Vitello was the 2nd highest paid coach and Tennessee had a nearly $100m investment into baseball, but Danny White is the enemy. Because of whatever they're claiming is happening with baseball money for WBB. It's the MLB - he didn't leave for another college program.
