I'd go with him over Beto or Allred with no doubts.   That still leaves the Abbott race, since JT had originally been thinking of the governorship.   

There is always so much talk about 3 time losers, etc.  But what is never taken into account is the uneven playing field gerrymandering gives these Dem candidates to begin with.  Granted that doesn't come into play on statewide races, but there's a whole lot of people who don't understand that.
