Just finished my first.  Prep was not nearly as bad as I feared.  The main issue for me was going without food.   I'm told they removed 3 polyps and are sending them off.  They don't seem concerned and said to come back in 5 years.

Prep is complete.  Heading in in about an hour.

The biggest problem I've had in the past is flirting with the nurse when they first wake you up from your Propofol nap. That shit is awesome.  Unless you're Michael Jackson.

Yes on the Propofol.  I’m actually looking forward to my next one in two years.

Zero polyps. First time I’ve hung a zero in that category. Now on 5 year schedule.

They told me not to drive a car or drink alcohol for the rest of the day. I’m 0-2.

I’m getting mine this Thursday morning. Fingers crossed.

Nope.  You’re really hoping for just one finger.

Doc told me I’d be a little sore where he put the Nancy Pelosi tattoo.

Just took first dose of bowel prep.
Procedure at 6:30 am tomorrow.
Shit’s getting ready to get real.

I go in tomorrow at 8:30 for mine. It’s been annoying having no solid foods. Overall not just starving hungry or anything but there is really nothing appealing or rewarding about a day with “meals” comprised solely of chicken broth, beef broth and popsicles/jello…which I normally never even think about having but at least seemed a little more “solid” than more broth. Washed down all day with just water and Gatorade. Took the first of the 2 drinks a couple of hours now but no toilet bombing yet. Can feel my stomach churning and just waiting for the big moment.

I took my first dose of Suprep around 5pm and the Space Shuttle didn’t start lifting off until about 9:45pm.

I know this should probably go under the "Unpopular Opinions" thread, but I actually like the taste of Suprep. But I also like tonic water and Fernet. Fuck the haters.

Just finished round 2. Go in at 6:30.
Lots of gurgling in stomach.

Impressive. I made it 23 minutes.

In the waiting room ready for the big event! I will share that last night all of my dreams involved shitting including one in which I hogged the only toilet in some place for an inordinate amount of time and couldn’t stop shitting (in the dream). Per my scale, I am down about a pound over yesterday morning so there’s that.

I made it to 54 without anything up my backside , however a year of occasional abdominal pain has me a little worried I waited too long.

The good news, it's also my birthday, so post op weekend will be gluttonous. 🤘

Took the first dose 3.5 hrs ago. The main colon blow seems to be over but I get to do it again at 4:30a for a 10a procedure. I’m hungry. Can’t wait to eat lunch tomorrow.

The fasting fucked me up way worse than the prep and the procedure.

Why are some of ya'll still taking the liquid prep.  Pills are the best and makes the entire procedure really not that bad.

Drinking the liquid (Clenpiq for me) is pretty much the least unpleasant part. The hours of diarrhea, hunger, and sleep deprivation are much worse. I can’t imagine the pills help much with that.

The nap is everything it’s cracked up to be. I did not want to be woken up.

The post-procedure farts are epic as well. They puff you up like a frog so they can get a better look and all that air has to come back out.

About to crush some Chick-Fil-A and go back to bed. Good news is I was all clear and don’t have to go back for ten years.

Everyone I know hates the drink.  Sure, I was hungry but after I took the pills and started shitting, I wanted nothing to do with food.

If you follow the 2-3 day diet prep leading up to the night before, the night before really isn't that bad.  Speaking for myself, though.

About to start my prep in 10 minutes. Pray for my anus.

You still alive?

I’m tired.  My ass is raw and I’m starving.

About to go in for the procedure now.

Yup, pretty much.

Pathology did find something, so I'm being referred to a Oncology doctor.

starting my prep today for an early morning kick-off Friday at 06:00

I highly recommend a Dan’s double meat/cheese all the way with bacon and japs, large onion rings and a DP as a first meal after procedure.

Actually, I recommend it any time.

I went from a ten year followup to a three year followup, and now to a two year follow up.  Im due in the saddle September 9.  Too much bacon and red wine.

Not a fan of the new 24 pill/96 ounces of water plan.

Just turned 50 and got mine. Thankfully everything went well.  Prep wasn’t terrible.  See y’all in 10 years

Clean clear through.  Five years.

I am due to have my first one on October 18.  Was going to go the Cologuard route but never got around to it.  Finally told my doc at my recent general check up to go ahead and sign me up.

I guess the two Cologuard kits that I have received in the mail will become White Elephant Gifts.

T-minus 6 hours. One thing for sure, nobody can tell me I'm full of shit today.

Relatively good result. 2 polyps, 2 diverticula (that were already found). Now bring me red meat and brown liquor!
