that was maybe the funniest 60 seconds of physical comedy by Michael Richards on the entire show.  He didn't fall down, or fly through the doorway, or cover himself in dry cement.  It was just him sitting and making subtle facial expressions watching a real life crooner legend.  And he just nails it.  The real question lingers though---how did Mel Torme and that other couple not just lose their shit and crack up?   I'd love to see the outtakes of that episode.

I believe they talk about that in the DVD extras.  I haven't watched in a while though.  I recall that it may have all been done in one take.

I didn’t start watching the show until it came on in syndication, about halfway through the series. The first two I saw were Pig Man and Jimmy. I was pretty obsessed with seeing every ep as quickly as possible.

JIMMY'S DOWN!

This episode also had the "GEORGE IS GETTING ANGRY" line.

Classic.

That's as good as anything you do.

One of my favorite running gags on Seinfeld is how the rest of the crew is (mostly) unimpressed with Jerry's comedy.

Elaine: The Tonight Show?

Jerry: Yeah, they're in town this week, you wanna go?

Elaine: Are you doing new material?

Jerry: No.

Elaine: I don't think so.

What's the deal with politics?  I don't get it.  Am I right people?

Actually that whole montage of what Kramer does in Jerry's apartment when Jerry isn't there is hilarious.

LOL yes that is freaking hysterical.

"WHAT DON'T YOU COME UP HERE AND SAY THAT TO MY FACE!!!"

(Smash cut to Kramer trying to barricade the door...)  LOL

Listen Jerry. Bania's voice is the voice of a new generation. My generation.

We're 4 months apart!

It’s my favorite show ever and I’m not a fan of his stand up.

Seriously?

Wow.  I saw him live on his "new material" tour post-Seinfeld (the genesis of which was shown in the documentary "Comedian") and I freaking laughed so hard my face was hurting after the show, lol.

Yep.  I've seen him twice and he's killed both times.  He's gotten crankier as he's gotten older, which has been fun to watch.

I probably need to see it live. I love comedians in cars too.

LOL yes. He's slowly becoming Larry David... :D

Yayyy!  Jerry got it open!

This is a regular in out kitchen.  That and some variation of "ooh, Mr. Apple, you have a brown spot!" whenever I'm cutting or peeling something that has a disformity.

Not our all the way. Their all the way. I've got the stink of responsibility on me.

I’m feeling something else!

She lost her thumbs in a tractor accident and they grafted her big toes on. They do it every day.

And you call that, the 'Tractor Story'?

Must be one of those rich, spoiled handicapped people, who didn't want to do any work, and just wanted to sit in her wheelchair and take it easy.

Whuh?!?, When?!?

It’s an arty movie and frankly, they don’t have the sensibility.

.....then you, cry again

I’m gonna need three cameras—two on the floor, one in the balcony—and I want headsets for the guys runnin’ em, I wanna be able to talk to them.

I’m a joke-maker

Did I need that pointed out for me? What is that going to do for me? How does that help me, to see her? I'm trying to live my life. Don't show me that.

So that means that anytime you want you can just picture her naked?

I guess that's true...

male mammal, approximately 30 to 60 years of age... weight?  oh, indeterminate.
