Hmm, that job sounds like it might be worth a *year's* free haircuts. And a comb.

Is that actually Jason Alexander?  Doesn’t really look like him.

That's the picture George used to attempt to get bereavement airfare. Classic.

I know, but looking at it closely, it almost looks like they stumbled across this photo by accident and said, “hey, that kinda looks like George, let’s use it!”

If I'm curt, then I apologize.  But as I understand it, we have a situation here, and time is of the essence.

Wonder if that was a Pulp Fiction callback or if they just came up with a similar line.

It was a callback.  Newman was "The Wolf" and he was taking care of the muffin stumps problem.

Yeah, that episode came out about 3 years after Pulp Fiction.  They were gonna have Newman scream over to the Muffin shop in an Acura NSX, but they felt it'd be too heavy-handed given the other half-dozen clues ;)

Most underrated part of that episode is George of all people, ends up with perhaps the most sultry piece of ass on any Seinfeld episode...Rena Sofer who plays "Mary Anne."  She was 27 in that episode and is just as hot today at 51.  Looking up her age just now on imdb also makes me appreciate another little Seinfeld gem.  So many shows, even if it's not spoken aloud, still give the weekly secondary/tertiary characters a last name.  Seinfeld never really bothers with that when it comes to the revolving door of dates for the four main characters.

Anyway, in honor of this episode...I'll be having a Alcoholic Chicken Drink in honor of hers and George forbidden love.

Look George, I'm really enjoying spending time with you but I'm not sure this is going to work out. At some point you're going back to your job at Tyler Chicken and your three-legged dog Willie.

Rena Sofer? You know, I heard a rumor her marriage was a little rocky.

I don't get the joke.  But the guy does look like a complete fucking tool.  And his claim to fame is screenplays for "Dawson's Creek"  Also, the name...Sanford Bookstaver.  I mean, that's just a self-fulfilling douchebag prophecy by the parents.

So you're telling me there's a chance?

You think people will still be using napkins in the year 2000? Or is this mouth-vacuum thing for real?

Hey, see these?  Cinco de mayo.  Sales commission bye-bye-o!

they’re dessicants!  see, they absorb moisture.  these clothes won’t last five years without them.

You know, in the year 2000, we'll all be on speed dial.

Susie?  I actually had a little thing with her for awhile

Her too.

Guy who played Mike has to be among the handful of tertiary characters that goes the longest between appearances (of regular season episodes, showing up in the finale doesn't count).  He shows up in Season 3 to call Jerry a phony.  Then not until Season 8 as the Bookie.

Front first?  That's how you park when you're pulling a job.

Possibly my least favorite episode.  Also In the running: the old man episode.

World's colliding, movie phone Kramer. Interesting.

You've selected...brown-eyed girl!

Coming to theaters this Friday ... Kevin Bacon, Susan Sarandon --

“You've got to get me over that mountain!” “Now” [bang, bang] “AHHHHHHHHHH” There is no place higher than ... Mountain High. Rated R.

That's cool.  I'm up for some stuff.

The Jason Alexander episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee was great for those of us that just wanted a little more Seinfeld.

I’d also recommend the Curb Seinfeld Reunion season.

i've been re-watching all of curb during covid and just finished those.  so good.  "she has a rash on her pussy" and "your cunt is in the sink" never fail to make me lose my shit.

"The Pool Guy" is your least favorite episode?  I'd have to put in my bottom quintile but it's far from my least favorite.  But it did get me thinking which episode would be least favorite if I had to pick.  I'll give it some thought on the shitter.  It's harder than one would think.  Yes...both

I just found it very...uh, what's the word...supercilious.

So do you think they got shrunk down, or is it just a giant sack?

The recipe was for four to six people. I had to multiply for a hundred and eighty-three people. I guess I got confused.

Jerry, this is the way society functions. Aren’t you a part of society?  Because if you don’t want to be part of society, why don’t you just get in your car and move to the EAST SIDE!

Jerry; Elaine huh?.. She's completely..

George: Oh, I know....cause you don't think Janet?..

Jerry: No....

George: Why would I...

Jerry; It's ludicrous..

George: Yes.

Jerry: For either one of us..

George: No...

Jerry; So...

George: Exactly.

Jerry: ....I'm not gay.

George: ....well neither am I...

Both: KRAMER GET IN HERE!!

I think that ginger ale at the coffee shop is just Coke and Sprite mixed together. How can I prove it? Ah! Can't, dammit.

Right...downtown.
