Guy holds a loaded gun pointed at another guy's face. Other guy smirks and doesn't take it seriously. Then gun guy cocks the gun. Now other guy stops smirking and reaches for the gun and somehow either disassembles it instantaneously or manages to smoothly snatch the gun out of the other guy's hand and point it back at him in one motion.

I would think just having the loaded gun pointed at my face would be enough for me to take the situation seriously.

In a race or car chase with both characters going full out. One guy decides he really wants to go fast so they cut to him shifting gears.

It's the go really fast gear because the car zooms forward.

I'm also annoyed that every show where Chinese food has been ordered everyone is deftly using chopsticks. Sure.

This one really grinds my gears. Especially since downshifiting is what gives you a quick burst of clutch grinding speed THEN you upshift before your engine explodes.

Always racking a shotgun when it should already be loaded.

Also:

  • endless magazines that never need reloading
  • sparking bullets on impact
  • grenades exploding like a 55g barrel of gasoline, throwing people across rooms, etc.
  • shotguns blowing people through windows

My wife who is a nurse has a new favorite after watching the last Mission Impossible movie.

Somehow, when the emergency arises,  people on TV and movies have the materials and the skill to put in a chest tube with no issues or consequences.

Wife loved the size of the knife used on Benji and yet the hole was the perfect size.

People instantly dying when shot with arrows.
Gasoline blowing up without an ignition source.

When there is a massive explosion happening just a few feet behind them, they take the time to slowly walk away and put on sunglasses or something.

Arrows and knives providing an instant fatality.

People that get shot and are all bleeding and dying, and then in the next scene they’re running around and fighting, and then as soon as the fight is over they’re all limping, bleeding, and dying again
