He was the definitive face of the 70s. Better hope Sheriff Justice wasn't setting a speed trap for him up inside the pearly gates....
September 6, 20187 yr RIP For a time, he was just about the coolest dude on the planet. Edited September 6, 20187 yr by Jive Turkey
September 6, 20187 yr This one hurts a little. RIP Jack Horner. Can't believe he never saw Boogie Nights, probably his best role.
September 6, 20187 yr If I had enough time I'd take these rosary bleads and stuff'em up your nose. RIP Burt
September 6, 20187 yr Wow. RIP. Hooper was the first time I saw a woman's bare breasts that weren't my mom's.
September 6, 20187 yr I was flipping channels last night and some old King of Queens episode was on and Burt was in it as a High School Principal and hitting on his librarian. Still bringing the laughs. Also, I watched Mystery Alaska for the first time last week and didn't realize he was in it. Good movie. Rest in peace

September 6, 20187 yr The movie title escapes me but he made it with Beverly D’Angelo as a surrogate mother and they eventually fall in love,IIRC. Anyways, there’s a scene early on where Burt is in the park and showing off to kids feeding a squirrel and tosses food a little too far and the squirrel gets ran over(brake sounds off camera) and the kids and parents are horrified and scuttle off, shit cracks me still to this day.
September 6, 20187 yr 82 years with some badass films on your resume is a great life. I hope to pay tribute in the near future by downing a six-pack while watching Cannonball Run.

September 6, 20187 yr I don't normally buy Coors, but this one time, in honor of the Bandit, I will buy some on the way home tonight and toast him.

September 6, 20187 yr Man, that’s a bummer. My older brother and I used to get spankings because we taught our younger brother to answer “shit” when we asked “what does the Bandit say?”RIP
