Minnesota lawmakers shot by person impersonating as a police officer *Update—2 killed*

I was just trying to say that if there is a manifesto left for the police to find, I am not expecting it to be truthful. Obviously the right will have their delusions regardless of what they find.

Law enforcement official on Hortman shooting: "It was knocking on the door and asking the person to come out. Absolutely impersonating a police officer ... we have the suspect's car. The suspect is on foot."

Police chief impresses me so far.  They preemptively went to the 2nd Rep’s house as a wellness check.  In doing so they hopefully saved 2 lives, got his getaway car and incriminating evidence.  Sounds like they mighta winged him as well?

Might be standard practice in things like this, but regardless I’m impressed with his “officers go in pairs” plan.

Jesus, get all the factual fackity fuckin facts before detaining, arresting or shooting anybody or blaming anyone or anything (except this fake cop asshole).

King Orange can’t pardon for state crimes so he’ll probably just have any DA that tries to prosecute arrested. Unless they can actually pin it on a “leftist” in which case death penalty. US Justice everyo everyone.

the 2nd house is the two who were killed.

Out of an abundance of caution my Department of Public Safety is recommending that people do not attend any political rallies today in Minnesota until the suspect is apprehended.

Fuck that. Defy the fascists.

And yeah, it seems reasonably likely the shooter actually IS a cop.

Why wouldn’t it be truthful? He didn’t intend to get caught yet and it sounds like it was also his hit list

Here's the thing:  this can't be hand-waved away as anything other than political violence.  It wasn't a lover's quarrel -- it was two different politicians, one man, one woman, and their spouses.  Both were Democrats.  It was politically motivated, period.

It's impossible to try to call this anything but a pair of political assassinations.

And there will be more.

I have been briefed on the terrible shooting that took place in Minnesota, which appears to be a targeted attack against State Lawmakers. Our Attorney General, Pam Bondi, and the FBI, are investigating the situation, and they will be prosecuting anyone involved to the fullest…

There are a million ways to die, and no one here gets out alive. Dying while standing for the right thing is far better than most endings. I’m not seeking it, and I’m no martyr, but I’ve made peace with that possible outcome.

All that said, I would hate to lose a good amigo.  Esp one who puts up with my rants and venting over beers.  Be careful out there please.

lol. Yeah. He would totally do that, even though it doesn’t change her vote…and he can probably just veto the bill if he wants.

There is a negative infinity chance he wrote that.
He likes it. He wants more of it. As do every single one of his supporters. When they say they don’t, they are lying. Because lying is the core of their being, right next to hate.

He brings a great security aspect forged by both many on the ground experiences combined with training by both private security firms and by people in the U.S. Military.  He has worked for the largest U.S. oil refining company, the world's largest food company based in Switzerland and the world's largest convenience retailer based in Japan.  "

All other state lawmakers there are in protective custody? Fuck. That.
Don’t let an armed cop within a fucking mile of you if you are a Democrat. Arm and protect yourself, and use only trusted friends as armed security.
Act like you’re at war. Because you are.

Being a supervisor in operations and working in continuous improvement are not the clandestine roles you think they are. But I’m just being snarky having been in this industry awhile.

OK, you're right.  I was stream of consciousness posting.  Sorry for any offense caused.  Security operations in the places listed stood out to me. (edit: trimming my babbling).   I'll quit speculating.

So he had a fake cop car as well?

Yup. Just saw video of it being hauled off. Looks like an old squad  bought from an auction, which the suspect then put paper POLICE plates on. KARE 11 just showed the video.

Before they went to golf, they showed LEOs rolling up to a property in rural Green Isle that supposedly belongs to the suspect.

What a fucking mess. Terrible, terrible, terrible.
