Drops tonight on PS4. Eagerly awaiting Insomniac’s take on this franchise. It’s the only Spiderman game ever to get Marvel’s seal of approval.

The action looked intriguiging, but there were too many cut scenes.

Been burned too many times by Spiderman games but I'm curious about this one.  Want to wait a month and see what people are saying though

This game is fucking tits. Very similar to the Arkham series in feel. The combat just gets sick as you mod your suit and open up other skills.

It has a great sand box feel. I spent hours just webslinging around new york.

Really enjoy the in game banter and the cut scenes are cinematic and only add to the feelnof having true super hero moments.

Ill probably finish it in a week if anyone wants to buy it from me later

I bought and downloaded last night. I’m pretty excited to get after this one.

Good timing also because I finally beat the last Valkyrie on God of War this weekend.

I've been playing the shit out of this game.  Ya hours of web-slinging is very easy to do.

Surprised there isn't more here. This game is absolutely amazing. I hated advancing the story because it meant I was that much closer to the end.

In terms of how long single player games usually last these days, this game was a bit short. There will be 3 paid dlcs by the end of 2018, which I'm not a huge fan of but will probably try at least one out to see if its worth it.

My sentiments exactly.

This game is what I always wanted from a Spider-Man game. And I’m a man. I’m 40. It’s been a long time coming.

What console?

I’m about 60% done. Plays a lot like Arkham. Insomniac has killed it with this release and set themselves up for like a Marvel Cinematic Universe level of quality game releases if they wanted it. If they followed this up with an equally intriguing Iron Man they could print money for the foreseeable future.

The variety of gadgets, suits and enemies are key of course so they probably couldn’t do hulk or Thor but we’ll see.

Is this a must buy Constant?

Yes, it is. It’s a perfect Spider Man experience.

Spoiler

I just played the sequence when all the criminals escape and spidey gets his ass handed to him. What follows may be one the best video game action sequences I have ever played. It hits on all levels. What a game.

Yeah. That was great. I keep engaging random groups of criminals without paying attention to the things I need to do to earn extra rewards.

I’m level 50 and have all suits (except the one), all gadgets and skills but intentionally not progressing on the main mission because I am enjoying the side battles.

Finished today. I’ll continue to play around on it but probably won’t start over. I might finish up the benchmarking tasks but might give up. I still have two challenges I can’t perfect (drone challenges) so that will bug me until I cross them off the list.

The new God of War was basically what a Thor game should be.

God of War is such a great game. I finished it including killing all the Valkeries. I hope there is an expansion pack or something.

I’ve played all the previous GoW games so I’ll get the new one eventually.

Finished Spider-Man earlier this week. I don’t think I have platinum trophy yet so I’ll still mess around.

Getting the top score on all the drone challenges was really tough. Other than that, no real issues.

The Spider Man platinum is pretty easy to get. You don't have to complete all of the collectibles, which is the sort of thing that usually turns me off.

Turns out all I was missing was talking to Ben's grave.

Second DLC released recently.  Still solid.  I've now completed 100% on new game+ and both DLCs.  I'll probably put it aside until the last DLC comes out.

I should have read all the comparisons to the Batman games. 95% melee combat with 9 million moves to memorize. Fuck that. I turned it off during the first "training" mission against Fisk.

The combat in Spider-Man is way more forgiving than Arkham. In Arkham you kinda had to know what you are doing. Spider-Man is like the training wheels version .
