June 16Jun 16 Hate to say it, but this looks good. Just when I think I'm out, they pull me back in! Edited June 16Jun 16 by RPM
June 16Jun 16 Dinklage, Uma, NPH, Batista back. Looks like fun. Dexter's kid also surprised and impressed me in that last series.
June 16Jun 16 New Blood and Original Sin help make up for a crappy final season. Looking forward to Resurrection.

June 17Jun 17 I didn't even finish the last season. I know what happened but, like many other Showtime series', I got burned out because they dragged it out too long.

He was so fucking good, it was impossible to do anything after Trinity. I thought Original Sin and New Blood were pretty good. They did an especially good job of casting younger characters from the original series. Resurrection looks like it's gonna be pretty good too
July 14Jul 14 I thought New Blood was decent, Original Sin was great, this one looks promising. Really intrigued by Uma Thurman's character and what's going on there. Looking forward to the next episode for sure.
July 31Jul 31 I assume I need to watch Original Sin before this one? I was really against watching anything Dexter after the main series ended but I’ve heard really great things about the new season.

It's also pretty good and worth a watch IMO. I think you're referring to New Blood. I wouldn't bother watching it, I'm sure you can find a summary on Youtube that would cover all the pertinent info needed to catch you up. Edit: Showtime put one out themselves Edited July 31Jul 31 by Hmbre97
August 1Aug 1 Yeah this is a lot of fun so far. Not totally caught up so skimmed the thread with one eye closed. Michael C. Hall is just so interesting to watch. And the way he can deliver almost any line in a way that makes me laugh is a gift. That dry Dexter sarcasm slays me pun intended.

Never watched another minute … but, the urge is back. 💉 🔪
August 18Aug 18 I liked the energy of ep 1. It's faded a bit but still looking forward to new episodes.
September 6Sep 6 Very happy with this season. Appears there will be more. Looking forward to seeing Al on Dexter’s table.

Seconded, this has been a great show so far. The cast this season was fantastic from top to bottom. The only weak character I felt was NPH's, not even necessarily his fault just his character was uninteresting from a lore perspective and not very well written. I thought the rest killed it for the most part, especially Kadia Saraf as that autistic as fuck detective.
