However, he made the top 4 in the last 4 majors. Most elite players would kill for that. We're calling for him to retire cuz it's embarrassing. That is to say, if he goes through the us, or ausie without breaking down, he could win it. The last two times he's played alcaraz he won. Crazy to step back and realize he has dominated tennis and the majors for a decade.

He's going to stick around another year and probably win another major and retire even moreso as the greatest player of all time.
July 12Jul 12 Alcaraz is the reason I started watching tennis again 3 and a half years ago so I’ll take him to beat Sinner. I hope he beats Sinner every single time they play in a major. To be 22 and going for a 3rd Wimbledon in-a-row is impressive.

Barring any major injuries one of these two of Sinner and Alcaraz will win more majors in my opinion. Quite the lofty goal, but the men’s field has no one on their level right now.

He can't hold up over 5 sets for two weeks. Honestly, I have very mixed feelings about him. He's been a tremendous individual competitor but his vaccines shit really made me question his mentality. Regardless he's in the top 2 or 3 of all time; even if Roger or Rafa is more beloved, his results are hard to argue with. Just a really gifted tennis player and all around athlete.
July 12Jul 12 Novak didn’t look done to me today. Sinner played top level tennis and was lucky as hell to be there. With no dominant men outside of Sinner and Alcaraz it wouldn’t take a whole lot for Novak to wake up and find himself in a major final again.
July 12Jul 12 Lloyd Glasspool won the doubles finals. He played at UT where he was the NCAA doubles champion in 2015. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

July 12Jul 12 Author Genie Bouchard is loving this, no one will mention her final against Petra anymore.
July 12Jul 12 She's pouty, and her body language is terrible. Chris Evert is right, she doesn't want to stay in the points and grind it out. She thought she was going to big hit her way through this and win points after 1 or 2 big hits.
July 12Jul 12 Maybe she had some more important shit to do today. I give her the benefit of the doubt.
July 12Jul 12 This trophy presentation and interviews are going to take longer than the actual match.
July 12Jul 12 Anna’s post game speech lasted longer than one of her sets in this match. Let’s hear the winner speak.
July 12Jul 12 Wiki with the quick update Steffi Graf won 6–0, 6–0, against Natasha Zvereva in the 1988 French Open final. The official time of the match given on the scoresheet was 34 minutes. It was the first of two "double bagel" Grand Slam singles finals of the Open Era (the other one being Iga Swiatek beating Amanda Anisimova at Wimbledon 2025), and only the third time in the history of tennis (the other being at 1911 Wimbledon.

A month after suffering a straight sets defeat by Sinner in the semi-finals of the French Open, Djokovic was subjected to an even more one-sided 6-3, 6-3, 6-4 defeat by an imperious Sinner. The 38-year-old moved sluggishly throughout and he took a medical timeout after losing the second set. “I don’t think it’s bad fortune,” said Djokovic. “It’s just age, the wear and tear of the body. As much as I’m taking care of it, the reality hits me right now, last year and a half, like never before, to be honest. I reached the semis of every slam this year, but I have to play Sinner or [Carlos] Alcaraz. These guys are fit, young, sharp. I feel like I’m going into the match with the tank half empty. He'll need some luck to avoid Sinner Alcaraz to win another. I think it would be US open or Wimbledon.

July 13Jul 13 Have to admit I'm a little surprised. Don't know why I should be that the guy ranked number 1 is playing so well, but I am.
July 13Jul 13 I know it is anything but easy but, these guys make this look so easy. There is no way in hell I’m getting a racket on any of their serves. I wouldn’t mind Sinner winning
July 13Jul 13 Wow, Sinner is making him run. Three championship points now. Sinner on serve, up, 5-4, in the 4th
