Bueckers is 6’, so he may even be taller than his listed 6’ 3 1/2 but yeah, no way he’s anywhere near 285 (what his 247 profile claims). Common sense tells you he’s been prescribed a nutrition plan for weight gain but there’s a long way to go. Maybe he’s one of those country strong skinny dudes like Bob Lilly, throwing Volkswagens around and shit.

Gerry Hamilton says Turntine can squat over 600 pounds.

His Dad was an "undersized" defensive tackle for the Frogs playing ~270-275 range.

Very athletic, great quickness, and was just tenacious. The son sounds to be much like Dad in terms of athletic ability and and the manner he plays.

Will be very interesting to see if he can gain that weight and still be effective.

I wondered about his size last season and people told me I was dumb. I didn't see him playing tackle at the next level. He's damn strong and looks like a guard to me. His dad seems to keep him disciplined and focused. Lord knows we need the help

I have never seen the kid play a down so now idea where he would best fit on the field.

Will say I was a bit surprised that he wasn't playing d-tackle for North Crowley and maybe he does play a bit of defense for them.

ok damn didn’t realize that was paige buckets.  so he is tall.  still too skinny though.

I went to the North Crowley vs Duncanville playoff game last year. Turntine made KJ Ford completely disappear

You aren't likely to get physically overwhelmed at the high school level. He's tough and athletic, but he's gotta put on a bunch of weight without losing his mobility to stick at tackle. I think he's a hell of a left guard if he loses some mobility after gaining weight though.

Dude that would be cool. He could maybe levitate Arch over the defense?

He could easily get playing time over #79 aka John Turnstile

79 has already been benched

Oh no, our high school recruit who has a couple more years to gain weight and strength isn’t big enough to start yet! Why don’t we recruit some more fatasses who can’t move!!!

big motherfuckers turning into dominant OL is not some uncommon occurrence.  it just seems to be elusive to flood during his time here on the 40 acres.

He’s going to have to play guard if he needs to gain a ton of weight. His wingspan is going to shrink so much!

With as strong as he is, I think he could play OT at 285. We’ve had successful OTs play at that weight in the past 10 years.
