The Cowboys have no defense and the Texans have no offense. If the two teams played, who would win?

The team who can defend generally wins the majority of the time....

Yep, run the ball, defend, and wait until the other team eventually fucks up.  That strategy is not gonna win championships most of the time, but it will beat a lot of bad to above-average teams.

depends.  are you actually cruz in aledo?

cruz is a fucking spare so I’d hope you’re not actually him.  would be an odd choice of handle though.

Jerry Jones on facing Micah Parsons, via Jon Machota: "While he does make great plays, there is also a way to approach playing against Micah. As we know, we didn't exactly win the Super Bowl those years."

Yep it's all Micah's fault.

Can’t stand Cruz. I had to come up with a user name and panicked.

Also, I do not live in Aledo.

futureman is hilarious. I can’t imagine putting anyone on ignore. Just ignoring them should be easy enough.

Clottenschotter has unveiled a promising new tactic. Let Micah and the rest of the Packer defense wear itself out tackling Dak Prescott. Then put in a talented #2 who can both pass and run and watch him tear GB a new asshole. It's called "The Dakless". Dak Left. Dak Right. Dak Up the Middle. Still need the talented #2, i.e., any qb in the league that isn't Dak Prescott.

How about the other 26 years, you asshole?  Were those Micah's fault too?

So we are most of the way thru the cowboys Netflix special and there’s one thing we can’t quite understand.

We know for a fact that most of the players felt Barry Switzer was worthless in the Super Bowl run. Yet they made Aikman look like the bad guy, with Emmitt, Irvin, and Haley speaking favorably about Switzer. That was not reality.

So why did those players get on camera and talk positively about Switzer? What does Jerry Jones still hold over these guys heads? Aikman was a bit pissed he was made to look like the bad guy when the whole team was fed up with Switzer.

People LOVE Barry Switzer. That’s his talent.

They all liked Barry as a guy to get a drink with and go to the strip clubs with..... They all recognized he wasn't much of a coach at the pro level.  He was there for the party, not to build and lead a team.  Aikman was singularly focused and unfairly the job of keeping the team focused and in line was put on his shoulders.  I makes me more a fan of Troy as a leader of the last golden ear of Cowboys football.

The Switzer hire shoud have clued everyone in on what a shitshow this was going to be with Jerrah driving the boat.  It was the first of many back breaking emotional fueled conculsions, personnel decisions made by ego, and terrible draft, worse free agent decisions and 3 decades of ineptitude.  Here a little about the latest:

Basically, 12 guys agreed with what we were saying all along. That leaves zero that think the Cowboys made a properly smart call. https://t.co/uVUppzoybF

As thought, the league thinks Jerrah is a fool and laughing at him.  The Micah decision was just another of fumbled good luck.  Whenever Jerrah gets something good (a top 10 QB via UFA or 4th round), top 5 defensive player in the league, top 5 picks, he finds a way of taking this advantage and burning it up like a tire fire.  He has to be the dumbest football "mind" which has been allowed to hang around making football decisions.  Good at monetizing the franchise.... terrible at running it.

Listening to this batshit crazy old ass man try to explain why the Micah Parsons trade was a good deal makes me glad I'm not a Cowboys fan.  Good lord.

He's trying to act like he just pulled off Herschel Trade 2.0.

I hope yall got to hear Jerry Jones justify the Parsons trade while sounding like an out of touch old man. This franchise is totally fucked.

Everybody talking bout Micah.  The Green Bay Packer, I bet, is way more excited for what is to come in the next 40 minutes....Matthew Golden.

Pretty sure Jerry has ordered that Parsons gets triple teamed tonight.

Doesn't matter if the Cowboys lost 34-10. As long as Parsons doesn't get a sack and get cheered by the crowd, it will be a win for the carnival barker.  'Tis how he rolls....

Didn't have my closed captioning on for it.  A necessity when Jerry is talking now.

didn't we do that one time with a RB or WR where we loaded the box or bracketed all game so they couldn't embarrass Jerry?

#1782

I hope Micah destroys everyone. Fuck Dallas. Fuck Jerry.  Fuck this coaching staff.

#1783

At least the roof is open for Micah's destruction of Dallas, so God can watch.

Why are they trying to establish a running game? Just light up the Cowboys with passing on every down.

#1791

Too easy for Dobbs and his giant helmet.

They don't need Love's arm falling off in game 4.

Bland is just, not good.  So he's perfect for this defense.

Should have taken Jordan Love on the over for 225 yards

I'd have taken that for the 1st half.

They run it to speed the game up so they can get out of there.

they throw it when they bored and want to get a snack break after the td
