Denver is a tough place to play. I'm not expecting it to be fun.

Here's the thing...I knew they hadn't won IN Denver since 1996, I didn't realize we've never beaten them since then. Jesus.

While I joke every uear this is our year type bullshit.  We really do have an offense capable of carrying us to a superbowl.   We need a defense in such a horrible way. Any type of improvement. Anything to keep us in games. I’m just not sure it will happen

It's only in the last two or three games that anybody has realized that we have a star running back - the kind capable of carrying a team on his shoulders. An Emmitt Smith caliber beast. Having an actual running attack increases the odds of stringing together a few first downs , keeping our D off the field, AND letting them rest. We might just see what happened last week happen again... several times this season.

Trade for a difference maker and bring out the Flammenwerfer.

key word there is “social media” which implies the use of technology.  philadelphia fans are the obvious winners but most of them can’t afford smart phones or computers.

Fucking A!

That said, seems some fans have indeed been wondering why Jerry didn't try to hire Sean Payton? He gets asked about it on today's broadcast, per MSM. Here's the article. Payton's 5-2 with the Broncos. Cowboys are 3-3-1. Cowboys' Jerry Jones wanted to hire Super Bowl-winning coach

"During his weekly radio appearance with 105.3 The Fan on Friday, Jones was asked if he ever considered hiring Payton as the Cowboys’ head coach. Several times. It just never fit. He was never there when we needed to be thinking about making a change. The timing never fit,” Jones said, via team insider Jon Machota of The Athletic.

Of course this sounds like JJ bullshit, since he coulda parted with Barnyard Boy a year earlier and hired Payton. A whole year down the tube.

Other news from MSM: Cowboys and Jerry Jones can steal the last laugh with these 5 trades (suggestions to prop up the D). One or two sound like just what they need.

Making 1 Super Bowl while having 15 years of Drew Brees isn't that impressive.

Making 1 Super Bowl while having 15 years of Drew Brees isn't that impressive.
I mean Brees was nothing more than a regular season warrior. The whole Saints team was. They were soft and finesse. Outside of one single year, that style didn't translate to the playoffs. And the year they won, it took a Favre meltdown at the end to make it happen.

1 Super Bowl is about what they were.

1 Super Bowl is a whole lot more than what the Cowboys have done since 1996…

also, fuck the Saints with every bit of fuck that isn’t directed at the Eagles, but the NFL literally rigged an NFC Championship game against them…

Without that call, it was a sure SB win for Brees. So make it two in your calculation. Consider maybe four of those years were a young Saints team with a young Brees, and then an old? Saints team with an aging Brees.

We'll know more about where we stand on Sunday. Should be a good game. Get out the oxygen tanks.

Brees had the ball in overtime and turned it over. Saints got the ball first.

Also, Brees and that offense became stagnant and blew a big early lead in that game.

Both of those are glossed over in that game because of that call.

Rams defense was able to shut down the Patriots offense because they were built to. Saints defense was not doing that same thing.

Not really Cowboys related but damn, Terry Bradshaw telling his "text from a pig farmer" story on the pregame.

yep but CD has to fight and sell it.  he just lets it happen.

I didn't like the 2nd down call. Just run the ball 3 times, maybe even 4 depending on what happens.

you could see that coming.  this team is dumb as fuck.

Go from an incompletion and off the field to that shit, because we're not smart enough to move back a foot.  Geezesus

and there you have it, 11 point swing.  that is how you lose games in the NFL.

Cowboys tryna create another 200 yard rushing star.

Penalties have been an issue, as well.

Clean it up.

Guyton is a fucking dumbass sooner. my god what a horrible pick

Welp that was a fun first few minutes of the game. Back to regularly scheduled ass sucking.

Can’t avoid multiple players getting through the OL in seconds. Especially with no one open. Jesus.

this defense will give up another TD and the Offense will be forcing it from here on out.

Always was. They have got to add guys if they don’t want to waste this year.  It is NOT a rebuilding year.  Use assets and add.  Just don’t get rentals. Get younger players who are under contract or you’ll want to keep like Pickens.

Lol this is a team that “starts slow” on offense.

They just haven’t played Dallas.

they were never winning this game.

They haven’t won there since 1992.  It was a foregone conclusions. Becuase this stupid owner and front office think they should wait and see without improving this defense.

oh and they refuse to change the defense or DC. Last week was a fluke.

Broncos are cutting through the defense like a hot knife through butter, stopped only by terrible interception without pressure.

Romo: "I do like what [Eberflus] is doing..."
