November 18Nov 18 Turpin isn’t a wr. Back 7 is dogshit and 14 points isn’t enough. Maybe d line can get some here
November 18Nov 18 Never seen that before. I guess they needed the ball to bounce back to the kicking team?
November 18Nov 18 that was weird. we didn't call a fair catch and Vegas never tried to catch the ball in the air. Its like neither team knew what to do.

Vegas can’t catch it in the air right? Has to bounce first? And yeah Pickens could have called for a fair catch. Edit: I remember a play from OKST a few years ago where our guy fair caught an onside kick because the kicker lofted it instead of bouncing it off the turf. Edited November 18Nov 18 by 'stache

They could have, but they didn't look like they understood it...... Just has to go 10 yards. But when Pickens waived for fair catch, then they have to allow Dallas to field it..... so in that instance, no. Edited November 18Nov 18 by Patrick Bateman
November 18Nov 18 Just now, 'stache said: Vegas can’t catch it in the air right? Has to bounce first? And yeah Pickens could have called for a fair catch. oh. I figured that kicking team can always catch it in the air if they want as long as the receiving team doesn't call a fair catch.
November 18Nov 18 This is the play I remember. Fair catch call worked because the kicker lofted it instead of bouncing it off the turf. A free kick punt should work the same way. Also announcers are morons. It wasn’t a high bounce” he kicked it high straight off the tee, no bounce off the turf. Edited November 18Nov 18 by 'stache

I guess that was a fair catch signal but it wasn't real obvious.

Bland is playing much better, likely a large degree because what's going on in front of him. Even Murray has made some nice plays, not having to read the run in the middle, but going after shit. It's a shame they couldn't have had all these guys all season or they might have a couple more wins. Still some help to come with the young guys still working their way up to speed. yeah injuries early this year, given the schedule was not good. running into a buzzsaw after this game.
November 18Nov 18 What an effin pussy. Punch it in here. Do you think Cheaty Petey is taking a knee if the situation was reversed?

November 18Nov 18 Cowboys held the Raiders to 27 yards rushing. 14 of that was Geno. 7 on 6 carries for Jeanty.

It went 10 yards. But it was high as shit, and they were waiting for Pickens or whomever to bobble the ball. It was a weird poorly executed play Pickens did call for fair catch at the 38 where he fielded it off the hop and ran OOB at the 35. And they spotted it where he caught it, at the 38.

All QBs tend to stat pad against bad teams..... at least the good ones who are good enough to do so. But if you want to get technical, Dak had the best QB day vs the Raiders all season. That includes games against Maye, Herbert, Mahomes, and Nix. So, let's not get too carried away with not getting too carried away.

November 18Nov 18 By the time we get to halftime in the Chiefs game, it may be appropriate for Post Malone to perform this song. 😄 Edited November 18Nov 18 by Orange-4-Life

I don’t think there was anything smart about what he did. That ball is live as soon as it hits the ground. He got really lucky the ball bounced his way, it could have gone in any direction and the Raiders played it soft.
November 18Nov 18 But he fumbled early and therefore sucks, especially compared to the great Sam Darnold who never turns it over lol.Ahhhh yes good ol Sam Darnold. The guy who leads the league in turnovers since 2024 at 30. Now there's a guy you can count on in the big moments...lol

So, let's not get too carried away with not getting too carried away. This is why it's so laughable to me how people act. He "only shows up for games he wins and doesn't for games he doesn't" But when he beats a good team, nothing is said...then the next time he struggles against a really good defense with a retooled OL and missing weapons it's back to "he always sucks against good teams" ignoring when he beats them. Like He may beat the Eagles this week...but lose to the Cheifs the same idiots will say "he never shows up when it matters" when he just beat the best team in the NFC the game before or some shit. The double standard and narrative on him is obscene. And yes, why I wish he'd never have resigned here. He'd get much more respect from a fan base who isn't too dumb to understand how hard it is to play QB in the most high profile position in all sports, while be sabotaged by the Front Office all the time(as everyone in here will agree) and even coaching at times.

November 18Nov 18 Offense can be Potent against terrible defensive teams like Giants, Raiders, Jets. Did tie against GB so I'll give them that. Against the good teams? Bears, Eagles, Denver - offense was underwhelming to downright bad. Eagles, they started off fast, 2 TDs in first 2 drives then went into a shell. Also a common theme of these games is being on the road. This offense doesn't travel well, especially when that venue is outside a comfortable dome environment, which all of those teams had. This has been a theme for a very long time. The Arizona Cardinals game was a game that will most likely do them in. Arizona was on a 5 game losing streak going into that game and have been blown out both games since their win against us. Not only did they beat us, they dominated us. Score looked a little closer but Arizona's offense exerted their will, with Jacoby Brissett in our stadium. Offense was junk, defense couldn't get any stops. If they had won that game, they'd still have a fighting chance coming into the teeth of their schedule. They are now going to need to win some games against better teams and do it consistently. Trust them to do that? I don't. Edited November 18Nov 18 by Vic Mackey
November 18Nov 18 Quote According to Next Gen Stats, in his Cowboys debut, Quinnen Williams forced a season-high five pressures on 28 pass rushes (17.9%) and earned 1.5 sacks. He recorded all of his pressures in the first half, tying for the most pressures in a half by any Cowboys defensive tackle since at least 2018. Williams accomplished his pass rush production despite facing 14 double teams (50.0%), the 2nd-most he has faced in a game this season.

November 19Nov 19 Just sign Pickens and draft all defense, except maybe a running back in the middle rounds.Do you trust us to hit on those picks? I don't. Eagles went the route of just drafting all of the Georgia defense and it worked out well for them.

November 19Nov 19 While I don’t think the Chiefs are as good this year as they are in the past, I do expect Mahomes to throw for about 400 yards on our dog shit secondary. I do see fun rumors now that the Cowboys might shop lamb. I would love to get a dozen number ones for him I still think it would be stupid while he has some dumb ass drops. He does command detention, which is why Pickens is getting open when you have to worry about too it makes things harder, but Jerry is a fucking dumbass.
