November 20Nov 20 The whole league is meh... That's what is happening to the game. That's why it's so easy for the refs to rig.

They keep drafting DT even when you think they don't need them. Dallas only reaches for one too high in a panic when they are desperate for one, even though they have needed to address those positions much sooner. Everything behind them works better when you have a real quality D-line built from the inside out. Edited November 20Nov 20 by DougO

Defender was holding him all the way. You can't call a pass uncatchable if the receiver can't run his route. It's high fucking time the refs started calling holding on plays like that. Last time I checked, holding was still a penalty. What they ought to do is sideline any player for a quarter or a half (offense or defense) after his second hold in any game. I'll take that call over the non-call on the blatant pass interference against New Orleans (vs the Rams, I think) a few years back. The NFL and its players have gotten lazy. Same shit that goes on in basketball. Refs pick and choose when to insert themselves into the game with no consistency.

They have 18 strait home wins vs the NFC East with Dak starting. Can say a lot of shit about him, but he owns this division no matter who's better.

Dak has a better win% against the NFC east than Brady did against the AFC east. When I heard that, It stood out because Sturm on the Ticket would argue about the huge advantage Brady got always being a higher seed in the postseason because he could stack easy wins in a terrible division. Then I thought Dak has had an even greater advantage and hasn't done shit because he sucks.
November 22Nov 22 Re Lamb and Pickens: They'd have never done this with Jimmy Johnson as their coach. One of the two would spend the game on the sidelines and very possibly find himself looking for a job the following week. You can't play at peak level when you've been up all night - unless you're taking something to wake you up. They should trade Lamb in the off season.

I mean that was child's play compared to what the 90s Cowboys were doing under his watch. If you had talent, you could do what you wanted as long as you performed on Sunday.
November 22Nov 22 Yeah Jimmy openly stated after he cut John Roper for falling asleep in a meeting that had it been Michael Irvin, he would have just found a way to wake him up. Jimmy was a hardass, but if you produced, you were fucking playing on Sunday.

Dallas players UNDER JIMMY BOUGHT A HOUSE TO HIDE THEIR WHORING AND DRUG USE. And the entirety of the Dallas Sports Media knew all about it. Edited November 22Nov 22 by lilMAC25
November 22Nov 22 It's been a minute, but I don't think the White House was open the day/night before games. They were degenerates, but they performed, and for the most part avoided Bobby Layne pre and mid game antics, I think.

I quite literally said you can say what you want about him but he owns the division. Saying he suck’s is not only factually innacurate but continues to show you literally know nothing about the sport.

You can stat all the fuck you want in the regular season. How is Dak on turf? How is Dak in Night games? Hiw is Dak when the team serves Salisbury steak on the training table? All that matters is POs and rings. He's not even remotely approaching Marino territory either for taking over games.

Jimmy was quite open on treating different players differently and that rules applied different. I think with these two he would have done the same. Had it been a backup; benched and sent over to the asthma field, maybe cut.
November 23Nov 23 Elam has been released, totally shitting away the fifth round pick they could have used to draft a decent running back or linebacker, maybe a right tackle or DT. So many rookie running backs drafted mid to late rounds this year are showing up well. Except the one the Cowboys drafted.
November 23Nov 23 Where is everyone? You're missing all the holding and false starts by the Eagles that aren't being called.
November 23Nov 23 The RG is moving before every snap. Never gets set, already stepping back to block.

November 23Nov 23 That was fun. But also on that 3rd down play, I didn't think you could just push a DL in the back to the ground.
November 23Nov 23 They’re going to go right down the field and score now. this team just can’t fucking help themselves.
